IIC of MIC and AICTE has scheduled 16 e-sessions on different themes related to Innovation, IPR, Entrepreneurship & Startup and National Policy for HEIs will be telecasted on MIC Youtube Channel from 28th April Onwards at 3.00 PM. (https://www.youtube.com/mhrdinnovationcell)

The first e-session is scheduled on 28th April 2020 at 3.00 PM and will focus on "National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) for Students and Faculties in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs)" by Shri Dipan Sahu, Asst. Innovation Director, MHRD's Innovation Cell, and National Coordinator of NISP, ARIIA, and IIC.

Participants can download the PPT and upon submission of the e-assessment form within 4 working days from the date of conduct of that particular e-session will get an e-participation certificate ( will be issued by end of the IIC Calendar Year 2019-20 i.e June 2020).

Please dessiminate and encourage students to participate in the IIC National Innovation Contest 2020 of MIC and AICTE by submitting Ideas, PoCs and Prototype/Innovations to Presidents/Convenors of IIC-Institutes. Contest details can be seen at www.mic.gov.in.

*Willingness for Translation of SWAYAM / NPTEL Course and Swayam Prabha Video Lectures in Indian Languages*

This is invitation to all interested individuals for translation of SWAYAM courses in eight (8) Indian languages and creation of new SWAYAM courses for “SWAYAM” platform

MHRD & AICTE are constantly endeavouring to provide excellent e-resources for e-learning for courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Management through SWAYAM platform. The courses are currently in English Language. For widespread utilisation of these e-resources by a wider spectrum of students AICTE proposes to translate these courses into Eight Indian Languages in the first stage.

AICTE accordingly invites Expression of Interest from the interested faculty and students of AICTE approved Technical Institutions for offering their expertise / services for translation of the mapped PRIORITIZED SWAYAM courses of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Management as reflected in the Model Curricula in 8 Indian languages.

The interested Faculty/Student would be required to provide sub-titles first for English Videos of these prioritized courses in 8 languages i.e. Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu. Thereafter, they would be given a call to upload their ONE page of translation of any part of any video lecture which would be evaluated.

More interested faculty members will also be invited and requested to create new SWAYAM courses by developing 2-3 minutes Video based on identified Gap and subsequently to translate the same into Eight Indian languages, as above.

Priorities of Courses would be the First-year courses, fundamental courses of second year chosen as significant ones, more popular courses and the courses which have higher difficulty levels as a result of which there are higher failures.
