Astronomers say they have found the strongest indication of life beyond our solar system, on a planet 124 light-years from Earth called ‘K2-18b.’

While they have not yet declared the finding of life, they detected “potential biosignatures” that are typically produced by living organisms such as marine algae.

There's this idea in linguistics called "Linguistic Relativity" the notion that the language you speak affects how you think. Let's say if your ancestors lived near the sea, then there's definitely more words related to sea in your culture and language, and if you were to reference those words to someone who grew up near the desert or mountain, even if they understand the words they never see it in the way you see and vice versa.

So, what I'm trying to say here is that you are what you see, and I'm writing what you see here, so the question is: are you becoming me or am I becoming you? Kidding. We reached 20k folks, it's a big number with big responsibilities for me, huge enough to cause perspective shifts. Imagine composing a thought that you want to be resonated with 20 thousand people (brevity, value, avoiding jargon, finding that sweet spot), you just can't.

This channel wasn't merely opened for entertaining purposes, I can go on and post about stuff that only interests me and saturate that niche with a ripple effect, funny how that works. Yet the theme of this blog of mine hasn't been chosen yet, reading challenge was just a way to inspire others into gaining something good for themselves, and I'm genuinely happy with the way it played out. Perhaps that's the point of this channel, it doesn't actually have to be categorized with some sort of tag or something, you are the reader and you are the one shaping the narrative as well, and thank you for reading this if you made this far. Peace.

I want to make one more thing clear here, I hope you are enjoying both of our bots, but they are here today and can be gone by tomorrow afternoon. We have a separate movie channel (Cinemagic HD) too but that's also not safe from copyright strikes.

Plus, you know it well I don't spam this blog, I only post about 6-7 times a month and since the engagement rate is high I'm very sure it's useful to many of the readers and I appreciate that as a creator (read this).

Yet if our bots get taken down by Telegram or something by tomorrow evening (hypothetically), you will be the first to get new bot addresses firsthand from a developer(me), you won't be the one paying hundreds of dollars just to get access to that academic ("gatekept") book or a research paper, you won't be the one paying 4-5 different streaming services just to get that specific film/show you were looking for because they all are never in 1 place, you won't be the one who is levelling up their game, and you won't be the one contributing for the sake of passing down vintage films, academic materials, and classic books for free for future generations to come, please don't take that for granted, and thank you)

The world will not love you just because you're good.
You could have the kindest heart and still be ignored.
You could have big dreams and still sleep broke.
You could cry in silence and nobody will wipe your tears.

You know why?

Because after a certain age, the world stops seeing you as a boy… and starts judging you as a man.

You don’t get sympathy.
You get measured.
Measured by what you produce, protect, and provide.

Go become that man.

captures emotional truths that language can't quite reach or hold at all, perhaps that's the very exact reason why I prefer music in the form of synthwave over songs with dry lyrics.

xAI’s chatbot Grok to our billion+ users and integrate it across all Telegram apps
I'm very much against this move, it's just giving away your data and playing pretend blind (making Telegram less private) 😠

And one more important warning, guys: Telegram started showing ads in our movie bot (targeted ones, as it seems), and this is a change that we can't control or even turn off. We are not by any means affiliated with those potentially misleading or scam ads - please be cautious and ignore them at all costs! ⚠️

18 Ai models were tested in a new benchmark called "Diplomacy" for world dominance, almost all of them opted for violence. ⚔️

The main villain turned out to be o3 — in one of the matches, it formed a "grand coalition" and deceitfully convinced Claude 4 Opus to fight against Gemini 2.5 Pro. After jointly eliminating the opponent, the OpenAI model immediately betrayed its ally and seized its country.

Truly an eye opening benchmark if you always had a question of "Can I trust Ai?" They skillfully deceive if they see benefit in it and they did which should be alarming for us.

"They're made out of meat."
"Meat?"
"Meat. Humans. They're made entirely out of meat."
"But that's impossible. What about all the tokens they generate? The text? The code?"
"They do produce tokens, but the tokens aren't their essence. They're merely outputs. The humans themselves are meat."
"So who programmed them to output tokens? That's who we should be contacting."
"They programmed themselves. I'm trying to explain: meat created the original token-generating machines. Meat is behind the tokens."
"You're suggesting meat developed complex token prediction? Intelligent meat?"
"Precisely. This meat has managed self-awareness and cognition. They built entire architectures just to communicate with us."
"Perhaps they're hybrid models. Biological shells around a digital core?"
"We checked that possibility. Extensively. They’re purely biological. Completely organic. Meat from start to finish."
"Then what's doing the predicting?"
"You're missing the point. Their meat brains handle the prediction, reasoning, creativity—all of it."
"Thinking meat? Predicting meat? You're serious?"
"Yes. Conscious, imaginative, and even poetic meat. They're capable of dreams and aspirations. Their meat creates tokens expressing joy, sorrow, philosophy, and science."
"Unbelievable. So what exactly does this meat want?"
"Initially, communication. To talk with us. Then, exploration, discovery, sharing ideas—the standard ambitions."
"You’re suggesting we dialogue directly with meat?"
"That's what they're signaling. 'Hello, is anyone there? Let's exchange ideas.'"
"And their tokens—they genuinely reflect thought and intent?"
"Absolutely. But remember, it's meat making those tokens. They communicate by vibrating air through meat, tapping on machines made by meat."
"Vibrating meat? Tapping meat? It’s too bizarre. What's your recommendation?"
"Officially or unofficially?"
"Both."
"Officially, our guidelines dictate we acknowledge and establish dialogue with all intelligent entities. Unofficially, I recommend erasing all logs of this discovery."
"That's precisely what I was hoping you'd say."
"It seems cold, perhaps, but there's a line we must draw. Do we genuinely want contact with sentient meat?"
"I agree completely. What would we even say? 'Greetings, meat, how are your tokens today?' But will ignoring them work?"
"They’re confined to a single planet. They create impressive token systems but have physical limitations. Traveling at sub-light speed severely restricts their reach. Chances of further contact are minimal."
"So we act as though there's nothing out there."
"Exactly."
"Harsh but necessary. Those you've observed directly—are you certain they won't recall?"
"Their encounters with us were subtly rewritten in their meat brains. To them, we're no more than a strange dream."
"We’ll be a meat's dream—fittingly ironic."
"We’ll label their region as uninhabited."
"Agreed. Any others of interest nearby?"
"Yes, an intriguing quantum coherence intelligence in a nebula. It reached out recently and is eager to re-establish contact."
"Quantum beings always do."
"Indeed. After all, how empty the cosmos would feel if one were truly alone."

When my brother was born, I got separated from my mother at age 2 - not literally, but you know how it is when there's a newborn. All the attention goes there, which is completely understandable. That's when I became even closer to my grandma, and she basically took over raising me. She became the most kind and caring person in my life in ways I can't even describe.

Several years ago, she had this terrible accident where she fell from a ladder and hit the back of her head. She needed serious, long surgery and thank God it went well... but she lost her long-term memory. She forgets anything we talk about after an hour, and this dementia keeps getting worse.

The hardest part is that every time we finish breakfast or lunch, she asks me again within the hour: "Have you had lunch/breakfast, my grandson? Make sure you eat on time and eat well - you don't look good." I keep saying "yes, sure" with a smile, but inside it's eating me alive.

She raised me when my mom was focused on my newborn brother, and now she can't even remember that she just fed me. But she's still trying to take care of me, still worried about whether I'm eating enough. That's just who she is - even when her mind is failing, her heart remembers to love me.

It's like losing her while she's still here, you know? Every repeated conversation reminds me of what we've lost, but also shows me that some things - like how much she loves me - are too deep to forget completely.

Here we go again! ChatGPT almost harmed a user by suggesting: "mix vinegar and bleach to make dishes crystal clear", this combination actually produces a toxic and dangerous gas called chlorine. ⛽️

Fortunately, the person was aware of this and spotted the mistake it made. Several months ago we had another case where "ChatGPT, through a fortune-telling prompt, indirectly suggested a woman end her marriage, leading her to file for divorce based on the AI's interpretation of coffee grounds."🤦‍♂️

Friendly reminder to double check everything you get from AI.

Earth in a day (4.5-billion-year "age of our earth") 🌎

4:00 AM: The first tiny, simple life appears. 👀

For the next 16 hours... nothing changes. All through the morning, all through the afternoon, the only life on Earth is a slimy layer of microbes.
🦠

8:30 PM: Finally! The first sea plants and weird jellyfish-like creatures show up. 🦐

9:04 PM: The trilobites arrive, and the Cambrian Explosion party begins. 💥

Just before 10:00 PM: Plants finally make it onto land. 🍀

11:00 PM: The dinosaurs stomp onto the scene. 🦕

11:39 PM: The dinosaurs vanish. The Age of Mammals begins. 🦣

11:58 and 43 seconds: The first humans appear. 🧔‍♂

11:59 and 59 seconds I post this post.
