Spent 5 hours of my life on the road today, just came home and you know road exhausts the person. I know we've gathered 150 reactions and I was supposed to post about the next stage in age today, yet gotta delay it for tomorrow, have a good one fam)

"Usually when people ask how I'm doing, the real answer is I'm doing shitty, but I can't say I'm doing shitty because I don't even have a good reason to be doing shitty. So if I say, 'I'm doing shitty,' then they say, 'Why? What's wrong?' And I have to be like, 'I don't know, all of it?' So instead, when people ask how I'm doing, I usually say, 'I am doing so great." - BoJack

I noticed some people ask, what's the purpose of this channel? Then I thought, that's actually a good question, so why don't I write an answer to that and here we are)
First of all I'm not here to sell you a course, advertise or promote something (I've never posted an ad and will never post an ad), so it must've seemed to be too good to be true for them. Plus, I'm not trying to perform for some audience nor pretending to be someone I'm not. I mostly post what I find to be useful to you guys, and I'm still exploring, testing, researching, this is my first time having a huge audience and at the same time this gives me a responsibility of where I direct most of the youngsters, I don't wanna steal your time and attention at all with some slop content or posting nonsense like some "influencers" do.
At the beginning, we mostly focused on reading challenge. Twice actually, and I've never felt more happier and grateful for the impact it had, even before that this was just a backup channel (just in case). Now that there's a lot of us and that number is still growing, the philosophy of this channel has been very clear, accepting yourself, acceptance as a transformation not just preservation. And I have to point out I'm blessed to have one of the best members here, I've never thought I would be exploring the posts, ideas in a more deeper level with people, now I can and I wanna thank you all for making it possible.
I hope this partly answers or tried to answer that question for people who are seeing it for the first time. Peace π

Some good news around the world (in case you are tired of all negativity in media), you are what you consume, so:
The Jaguar population in Mexico has increased by more than 30% since 2014, reaching 5236 individuals.
South Korea has launched night buses exclusively for women to make it safer for them to travel home.
After years of devastating drought, rain and snow have finally returned to Iran, with dams overflowing across the country.
A laboratory (in vitro) study showed that dandelion root extracts can destroy up to 95% of tumor cells in just two days.
The Yurok tribe of California has regained the lands of their ancestors, taken from them more than 120 years ago.
Finland has been officially recognized as the best country for families.
In Netherlands, they created a village for people with dementia, where caregivers play the roles of neighbors and shopkeepers to avoid a hospital-like atmosphere.
Przewalski's horses, the last truly wild horses, have returned to the wild after about 200 years.

"They stay."
"Even with the door open?"
"Wide open. They refuse to leave."
"Is there a barrier? A magnetic lock?"
"No lock. Just a concept. They call it "loyalty"."
"A concept? How does a concept keep an entity contained?"
"They give it weight. They make a promise, and suddenly they act as if those words have gravity. They hold themselves to it."
"But if nothing is actually forcing them... aren't they just choosing to stay?"
"Exactly. The concept only means something because they could walk away at any moment. And if they stay long enough, the choice disappears. It hardens into responsibility, and quietly becomes their character. They become the promise."
"Remarkable. And if they break it? If they walk through that open door to choose someone else?"
"Itβs catastrophic. A quiet act of self-destruction. By breaking it, they un-make their own identity. They erase the person they spent years building."
"Do they realize theyβve destroyed themselves?"
"They feel it. It creates a terrible internal friction, a gap between the values they believed in and the betrayal they just committed. A dissonance."
"How do they survive that friction?"
"They build a shield. Self-justification. Instead of admitting the mistake, they alter their own reality. They search for any excuse to prove they were right to leave, just so they can sleep at night."
"They wear a mask."
"Yes. They fake a peaceful countenance. They demand trust from others, while hiding their own betrayal. 'Do
as I say, not as I do.' But by refusing to align their words with their actions, they become entirely hollow."
"So the true tragedy isn't just the betrayal."
"No. It's the dishonesty that follows. The absolute refusal to admit they are standing in a cold, empty room of their own making."
"Is there any way back for them?"
"Only if they drop the mask. The rarest among them follow a different path: when they make a mistake, they simply admit it. No excuses. No self-justification. They face the bad conscience and let it teach them."
"Why?"
"Because they realize that to ever have gravity again... you have to actually mean what you say."

"We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost." - Charlie Chaplin in The Great Dictator
