Ruqyah According to the Sharī’ah is from the Best of Deeds, from the Most Excellent Acts of Worship and from the Way of the Prophets and the Righteous Ones.

Our noble Messenger ﷺ was constant upon Ruqyah, performing it and teaching it. And he said to Asmā bint ‘Umais: “What is this? I see the children of my brother thin and frail? Are they not fed properly?” She said: “It is not that, but they fall under the influence of the evil eye.” He said: “Make Ruqyah for them.” She recited the words of Ruqyah to him, whereupon he said: “Yes, use this Ruqyah for them.” (Muslim, no. 2198)
