So, the holidays are coming to the end and in several weeks the study begins...
Personally, I would like to prolong holidays to have more time for the self-development, but anyway, nothing is changeable at this point and all of us are going to start the new education year soon
Therefore, my given promise (about links to notes for Freshmen) will be fulfilled in the near future (today) and finally, Absolute Students will open its doors for the Freshmen
Hence, stay tuned, guys, and be absolute!)

Eventually, welcome, Freshmen students!)
We are glad to see that our university is filled up with such a new generation of ambitious IT specialists. I believe that those who have entered our channel, especially the community of "Absolute Students", will be definitely at the top among all students, just by applying some effort and being self-disciplined at a small rate.
We, certainly wish you enjoyable studies during your following years and hope that you would take the best of what is taught to you.
P.S.: By the way, Sophomore students, don't be so greedy by disliking the idea of sharing links to the notes-channels with Freshmenπ
It should be a happiness to know that our heritage is going to somehow serve as a precious database for newcomers! So, let's be more open to the questions of our new generation and aid them as much as possible.

Some other mini-advises:
β Don't run for books for Calculus, OOP, Intro2IT and such subjects (except for AER, AE, TW&D), on your first days. You can easily utilize the electronic books, but for English lang. subjects, take the real books from the library (the 3rd floor of the building A) as soon as possible
β If you want to attentively listen to the professor (which is vital for winning the scholarship) and freely ask questions from him, then always try to busy the first row in the room
β Everytime when you have some doubts in the understanding the theory which is being explained by the professor, don't hesitate to ask questions from profs. Try to understand the theory at the time when it is explained, otherwise it may be late to do it (but of course, you can always ask questions in the Q/A section of e-class, or via e-mail; note that, prof. Dokov always answers in Q/A)
β Start your preparation for the midterms or finals, in advance. For instance, I start my preparations 2 weeks before the exams. This will give you enough time for preparing all subjects, especially for Calculus, for which you should solve multiple samples
β Time management. Do university tasks on time/earlier and develop yourself in your area after that. Do not mix self-development with studies!
β Do not stress too much. Enjoy your time at the university, make new friends, participate in different social activities organized by SU/administration
β Do not be late for classes (especially, OOP). Sometimes, you won't be able to enter the classroom because of your tardiness
β PE classroom (P-lab) is in the A building on the 5th floor
β To be well prepared, for better understanding, use not only university materials but also the materials from the Internet
β Unite into teams. This way, you can help each other and compensate each other's disadvantages
β When you are not satisfied with your mark, discover the problem with the professor and maybe, you would increase the mark
β Being in the IT faculty, doesn't mean that you shouldn't take with yourselves notebooks (especially on English lang. subjects)
*Might be supplemented with new other advises
