One fear is that the DNA gathered by consumer genetic testing companies routinely used by Americans to trace ancestry or find relatives could fall into the wrong hands. In 2023, a hacker exposed the genetic data of about 7 million users of 23andMe.

Goldman Sachs has raised the odds of a U.S. recession to 45% from 35%, the second time it has increased its forecast in a week amid a growing chorus of such predictions by investment banks due to an escalating trade war.

Goldman has raised its estimate from 20% early last week on fears that U.S. President Donald Trump's planned tariffs would roil the global economy. Days later, Trump announced steeper-than-expected duties, which have ignited a sell-off in global markets.

The European Union will try this week to present a united front against President Donald Trump's tariffs, with the European Commission planning to present to members Monday a list of U.S. products on which to impose extra duties.

The plan by the commission, which coordinates EU trade policy, is in specific response to Trump's earlier steel and aluminum tariffs rather than the broader, more-recently announced reciprocal levies, according to Reuters. But the consensus among the countries appears challenging, considering the leaders each have their own domestic considerations.

Among the EU leaders who appear most eager to retaliate are French President Emmanuel Macron, who is calling Trump's tariffs “brutal and unfounded.” 

Macron wants, in response, to suspend billions in French investments in the U.S. until the tariffs are removed. He has called on other European Union member states to do the same. 

Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, said European countries were “prepared to respond” to the new policies, but afterward said “There seems to be no order in the disorder."

In Germany and Italy, the European Union’s largest and third-largest economies, respectively, the situations are more complicated.

💥Child predators are on high alert as organizations around the globe have begun rolling out artificial intelligence (AI) tools to bring sex traffickers to justice and rescue young victims, according to "Sound of Freedom" executive producer Paul Hutchinson.

Hutchinson, who has led 70 undercover rescue missions across 15 countries, told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that he has worked with "black hat" hackers to help identify child predators and bring them to justice.

"The black hats. These guys are some of the best hackers anywhere. Some of them do highly illegal things for the right reasons, right? These are the guys who took down the Ashley Madison site and exposed all the guys who were cheating on their wives," he said.

Through this relationship, the hackers were able to develop a piece of AI software to identify potential instances of child pornography on the dark web and other less-trodden corridors of the internet—where criminals believe they are truly anonymous.

President Trump is expected to have a military parade in the streets of Washington, something he has wanted since his first term in office.

The parade never came to be during his first term, but times may have changed. Plans for a military parade are apparently in the works for Saturday, June 14, which is the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, Flag Day and Mr. Trump’s 79th birthday.

The parade, first reported by The Washington City Paper, would stretch about four miles from the Pentagon in Arlington to the White House.

Mr. Trump has wanted a parade honoring the country’s military since 2018. He got the idea after seeing a French military display in 2017 and telling people at the time, “We’re going to have to try and top it.”

BUSTED🚨: Eight people, seven of whom are Florida residents, have been busted in an international child pornography ring.

Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the arrests on Monday morning and described the content as "truly heinous."

"If you are a child predator, I hope you never see the sun again, and I hope you certainly never have access to kids again," he continued.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Mark Glass said that their investigation began in July of 2024, with agents checking the internet for people who sell and distribute child pornography.

Glass said that in the investigation, an undercover agent found a website that had led them to uncover over one million videos depicting sexual abuse of minors, some as young as infants.


Rita Peters, who leads the prosecution efforts, said that the children depicted in the videos and photos are children whose names are in the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and are victims of human trafficking.

Law enforcement began sending subpoenas to multiple companies to gather a paper trail, through this they were able to identify their main distributer as Mehmet Berk Bozuyuk, from Turkey.

Furthermore, they determined that the main site that Mehmet used was called "printedpics.com," which FDLE seized and shut down.

Peters said that after this website was shut down, they had global agencies, such as one from England, thanking them for shutting it down due to it being such a problem.

Ryan Routh, the suspect in the second alleged assassination attempt against President Trump, has formally asked a judge to suppress statements from the eyewitness who identified him to police as the suspect with a high-powered rifle who was a few hundred yards away from Mr. Trump at his Florida golf course.

Prosecutors say Routh plotted to kill Mr. Trump for weeks before aiming a rifle through the shrubbery as the then-Republican nominee played golf on Sept. 14, 2024, at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. Before Mr. Trump came into view, Routh was spotted by a Secret Service agent and fled, according to prosecutors. Law enforcement said the eyewitness statement was critical to finding and then charging Routh.

In a 13-page court filing in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the defense alleged police induced or were "impermissibly suggestive" when questioning the witness, who was allegedly shown a single photograph of Routh taken after he was detained. 

Routh's legal team claimed police created a situation in which an "irreparable misidentification" would occur and asked a judge to exclude the witness identification of Routh from the trial, which is scheduled to begin Sept. 8, 2025. The defense argued that the testimony would be "constitutionally inadmissible" in court.

NEW🚨: Seven Americans may have contracted COVID-19 in Wuhan in October 2019, several months before the reported start of the pandemic, according to a bombshell military report obtained by the Washington Free Beacon that the Biden administration concealed from the public.

The December 2022 report, which the Biden administration was required by law to release to the public over two years ago but didn’t, reveals for the first time that seven U.S. military service members contracted COVID-19-like symptoms during or after their participation in the World Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019—contradicting the Biden administration’s public claims in 2021 that there was no evidence that any American participants contracted the virus at those games. The revelation adds to a mounting body of evidence that the virus was circulating in Wuhan for months before China disclosed it to the world in December 2019 and further bolsters the growing consensus that it could have leaked into the human population from a Chinese lab.

The 2022 National Defense Authorization Act required the Biden administration to make its report on the 2019 Wuhan World Military Games "publicly available on an internet website in a searchable format" by the summer of 2022. Though the Biden administration transmitted copies of the two-page report to the House and Senate Armed Services Committees in December 2022, it didn’t see the light of day until sometime in late March when the Trump administration quietly uploaded it to a Defense Department website.

The potential COVID-19 illnesses from the American participants in the Wuhan World Military Games appear to have been a closely guarded secret of the Defense Department. Chinese authorities have suggested since as early as February 2020 that America could have unleashed COVID-19 into Wuhan through their participation in the World Military Games. Former Biden Defense Department spokesman John Kirby told the Washington Post in June 2021 that the military had "no knowledge" of any COVID-19 infections among the troops that participated in those games.
