The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General's office confirmed the government failed to properly monitor tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors who crossed the border without parents.
โWithout an ability to monitor the location and status of UACs, ICE is unable to facilitate court appearances and has no assurance UACs are safe from trafficking, exploitation, forced labor, or involvement in criminal activities that may pose a risk to local communities,โ the DHS inspector general said.
The report, published Wednesday, revealed that, from fiscal years 2019 to 2023, more than 448,000 unaccompanied minors were transferred to U.S. Department of Health and Human Servicesโ custody, with the majority then released to sponsors. However, more than 31,000 of the childrenโs release addresses were blank, missing apartment numbers, or otherwise incomplete.

๐ฅ๐ฅToday, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to suspend security clearances held by individuals at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP (WilmerHale) pending a review of whether such clearances are consistent with the national interest.
โข Security clearances held by WilmerHale employees will be immediately suspended, pending a review of whether their access to sensitive information is consistent with the national interest.
President Trump believes that lawyers and law firms that engage in conduct detrimental to critical American interests should not be subsidized by American taxpayers or have access to our Nationโs secrets.
โข WilmerHale rewarded Robert Mueller and two of his colleagues by welcoming them to the firm after they wielded the power of the Federal government to lead a partisan โinvestigationโ against the President and others. Muellerโs investigation epitomizes the weaponization of government.
โข In addition to WilmerHale, President Trump has also taken action to hold other major law firms accountable.

FBI agents who blew the whistle on โwrongdoingโ within the bureau โ including one agent saying he wants to share further information about working under disgraced FBI official Peter Strzok โ are calling upon the bureau, now led by Kash Patel, to review and resolve their claims of retaliation by Biden's FBI.
Empower Oversight sent an early March letter to FBI general counsel Samuel Ramer, asking the bureau for help related to the improper treatment of FBI agents Garret OโBoyle, Marcus Allen, Stephen Friend, Zach Schofftsall, Monica Shillingburg, and Michael Zummer. The letter also includes new details on four yet-redacted clients, at least one one of whom wants to share FBI abuses from his time working under Strzok, the fired FBI supervisory special agent deeply involved in Crossfire Hurricane.
At least some of the FBI whistleblowers have been locked in a legal battle with the bureau for years, alleging that their security clearances were stripped and their livelihoods threatened by the FBI. But now, with a new FBI chief in charge, the whistleblowers and their lawyers are asking the bureau to give the concerns of their clients a renewed look.
FBI staff operations specialist Marcus Allen had his security clearance suspended โfor questioning whether Director Wray had testified truthfully to Congress and other allegations based on SOS Allenโs political beliefs and concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine,โ his lawyers said. Allen, who had been assigned to the FBIโs Charlotte Division, โwas suspended indefinitely without payโ as a result of this and other disclosures.

PROJECTION๐ฅด: Hillary Clinton, known for using a private email server for official public communications rather than using official State Department email accounts, pens an opinion piece published by the New York Times blasting Pres. Trump for "squandering America's strength and threatening our national security," calling out this week's Signal chat controversy.
Ironically, the first paragraph calls out hypocrisy and labels Signalgate "dangerous" and "just dumb":
"Itโs not the hypocrisy that bothers me; itโs the stupidity. Weโre all shocked โ shocked! โ that President Trump and his team donโt actually care about protecting classified information or federal record retention laws. But we knew that already. Whatโs much worse is that top Trump administration officials put our troops in jeopardy by sharing military plans on a commercial messaging app and unwittingly invited a journalist into the chat. Thatโs dangerous. And itโs just dumb."

Cox signed the bill Thursday, making Utah the first state to remove fluoride from public water.
The legislation was introduced in January and it passed the state Senate in February. It won't take effect until May 7.
Just 44 percent of people in Utah are now getting water with fluoride in it, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
โYou would think you would see drastically different outcomes with half the state not getting it and half the state getting it," Cox said, referring to fluoride, in an interview with an ABC News affiliate.

The Trump administration on Friday asked the Supreme Court for permission to resume deportations of Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador under an 18th century wartime law, while a court fight continues.
The emergency appeal to the high court follows a rejection of the Republican administrationโs plea to the federal appeals court in Washington. By a 2-1 vote, a panel of appellate judges left in place an order temporarily prohibiting deportations of the migrants under the rarely used Alien Enemies Act
The Justice Department argued in court papers that federal courts shouldnโt interfere with sensitive diplomatic negotiations. It also claimed that migrants should make their case in a federal court in Texas, where they are being detained.

I have asked the @ FCCโs Enforcement Bureau to open an investigation into Disney & ABC.
While Disney started as an iconic American company, it recently went all in on DEI.
I am concerned that their DEI practices may violate FCC prohibitions on invidious forms of discrimination.
