NEW๐Ÿ‘€: Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass' aides were all warned about the prospect of wildfires before she jetted off to Ghana on a heavily-criticized trip.

Over a dozen of Bass' aides received an email from LA's Emergency Management Department on January 3 that warned about a 'high confidence in damaging winds and elevated fire conditions occurring next week,' per the Los Angeles Times.

But Bass was never informed about the email, and still went on the trip the next day, staying for the new Ghanaian president's inauguration and a cocktail party at the US embassy on January 7 - the same day the dystopian wildfires broke out.

Critics say new evidence of what Bass' team knew before the fires began suggest the mayor is trying to deceive voters and distract attention from the appalling failings of her own office.

City councilmember Monica Rodriguez, who supports former fire chief Crowley said: '(Bass) keeps saying, "I wouldnโ€™t have left had I known." But her staff did know.

'This verifies that her staff was notified of the potential threat by EMD, whose responsibility it is to let us know of these potential weather events.'

A committee comprised mainly of Republicans is now fundraising for a recall election, which could see Bass fired from office.

While most attention currently remains on the first assassination attempt against President Trump, there are some very weird connections with Ukraine surrounding the second attempt by the guy who hid in a bush with an AK47 at Trumpโ€™s golf course.

Commentator Sean Davis reminds us that the would be assassin Ryan Routh was a self professed Ukrainian โ€˜freedom fighterโ€™ who previously helped recruit people to go fight on the front lines.

And check out the guy with Routh in this picture taken in Kiev.

The guy is a Spanish chefโ€ฆ at least publicly. His name is Josรฉ Andrรฉs.

Andrรฉs is the founder of World Central Kitchen (WCK), a non-profit organisation that provides meals in the wake of natural disasters. Via this NGO he has sent hundreds of millions of dollars to Ukraine.

Andrรฉs was also a Biden appointee to the Presidentโ€™s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, until Trump fired him.

What he was doing palling around with Trumpโ€™s would be assassin is anyoneโ€™s guess.

There is one further interesting nuggetโ€ฆ

Theories about Routh being a CIA operative or deep state asset continue to circulate, fuelled by his intense pro-Ukraine stance and schemes to recruit foreign fighters.

BREAKING๐Ÿšจ: The US government is considering selling a sprawling portfolio properties across 47 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, part of President Donald Trumpโ€™s campaign to shrink the federal workforce โ€” and the buildings it occupies.

An inventory of 443 โ€œnon-coreโ€ assets posted by the General Services Administration Tuesday included many of the prime commercial buildings that house local and regional offices for federal agencies and provide services for taxpayers, Social Security recipients, farmers and workers.

In total, the structures represent almost 80 million rentable square feet (7.4 million square meters) of usable space โ€” 12 times the size of the Pentagon. The GSA estimates that selling them could save more than $430 million in annual operating costs, a key focus for Trump and his efforts to reduce government spending. The president is expected to address a joint session of Congress later Tuesday.

Remember that time when Nicole Wallace went so bonkers, she forgot the manufactured storyline for J6 and inadvertently admitted the truth?

You know, the part about how six Capitol Police officers actually took their own lives following J6 vs the whole insurrectionists killed police while attempting to overthrow our democracy story that all the mockingbirds have insisted is how things went down. Until last night.

Holy shid; when this one unravels, it's gonna get really ugly.

...Kamala Harris handed over a check for nearly $7 billion to Bethesda, Maryland, based group Climate United Fund, which does not appear in the IRSโ€™s charities database, and has no federal filings.
The non-profit fund had only been incorporated in Delaware on November 30, 2023, according to public records, five months before Harris handed over the cash in April 2024.

In another example, the similarly named Justice Climate Fund is a Washington DC-based non-profit which was set up in 2023, has yet to submit a tax filing to the IRS and has no information about its principals on its web site.
The group received $940 million from the EPA. It lists its aims as working with โ€œcommunity partnersโ€ to โ€œdrive transformative investments, focused on reducing pollution,โ€ among other goals.

Another third group โ€” Power Forward Communities Inc. โ€” was registered in 2023 and shows a total of just $100 in revenue in its tax filing for that year, according to public filings.
Yet the Columbia, Maryland, based nonprofit somehow received $2 billion from the EPA fund, according to public records.

The group said it is part of a coalition of five other charities, including United Way World Wide and Rewiring America, a Washington DC-based nonprofit which announced former Democratic Rep Stacey Abrams would work as its corporate counsel in 2023.

First Lady Melania Trump attended her husbandโ€™s address to the joint session of Congress on Tuesday evening, opting for a low-key skirt suit from Dior which retails for $5,500 while the skirt retails for $1,747.๐Ÿธ

For President Donald Trumpโ€™s address, Mrs. Trump wore an understated gray virgin wool tweed belted jacket from Dior with a removable scarf.

A long Dior twisted belt, matching Dior gray virgin wool tweed mid-length skirt, and Christian Louboutins were paired with the jacket.

The look mimics that of Mrs. Trumpโ€™s gray wool Marlรจne double-breasted jacket and skirt from Dior that she wore on her husbandโ€™s victory night in November of last year.
