This is a really important article.

Once you have established a common framework to carry out a respectful and constructive conversation with election officials, the next step is to objectively look at historical election data... and registration trends in particular. It is one of the most powerful and objective leading indicators we have. (We can't emphasize this enough.)

Captain K analysis is spot on, and these concepts need to be understood by everyone. (In fact it should form the basis for a test to see if election officials are qualified to hold office.)

Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake told a crowd to 'strap on a Glock' at a recent event as the 2024 election season intensifies.

Lake was speaking on Sunday at a Republican dinner in Mohave County when she told law enforcement and veterans in the audience it is going to be a 'crazy run' the next six months.

'They're going to come after us with everything. That's why the next six months is going to be intense,' Lake said.

๐ŸšจLawmakers are demanding answers after it was revealed the US is sending taxpayer dollars to a Chinese army lab to make bird flu viruses more dangerous to people.

Eighteen members of Congress are demanding answers from the Department of Agriculture (USDA) about the project, which was first revealed by DailyMail.com.

It is part of a $1million collaboration between the USDA and the CCP-run Chinese Academy of Sciences - the institution that oversees the Wuhan the lab at the center of the Covid lab-leak theory.

In a scathing letter to the USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack last week, the bipartisan group said: 'This research, funded by American taxpayers, could potentially generate dangerous new lab-created virus strains that threaten our national security and public health.'

๐ŸคฃSome members of Congress who led the investigation into former President Donald Trump's role in the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot acknowledge they've talked to their families about their safety โ€” and the risk of their arrest โ€” if Trump wins a second term in November.

In a series of interviews with CBS News, House Democrats who helped lead the House Jan. 6 select committee and some of the police witnesses who testified before it predicted they'd be targeted for retribution by a future Trump administration.

"My wife and I have had conversations about what life would look like if the worst happened," said Rep. Adam Schiff, a California Democrat who was one of seven Democrats on the Jan. 6 select committee. Speaking to CBS News near the House chamber between votes last week, Schiff said, "You can't avoid the conversations about 'What if?' And I have to think about my own personal safety."

Rep. Pete Aguilar, who chairs the House Democratic Caucus and was a member of the Jan. 6 committee, told reporters last week that he takes Trump's threat of jailing seriously. But Aguilar, noting the proximity of the Washington, D.C., jail to the U.S. Capitol, smiled and wryly noted, "My family has told me that they're going to come to D.C. either way โ€” and they'll visit me, no matter where I am."

The trial for Alexander Smirnov, the ex-FBI informant who has been charged with making false statements related to Joe Biden and Hunter Biden's business ties in Ukraine, has been delayed until early December, just weeks after the 2024 presidential election.

Smirnov's trial had been scheduled to begin in Los Angeles April 23, but special counsel David Weiss and Smirnov's defense attorneys filed a joint stipulation motion last week requesting additional time to prepare for the trial.

Smirnov's attorneys said a failure to grant the time would "deny them reasonable time necessary for effective preparation, taking into account the exercise of due diligence."

The motion also pointed to additional time necessary to bring classified material into discovery, noting they would have to go through the Classified Procedures Act.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday announced he will offer a motion to dismiss the two House-passed articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, slamming the charges as โ€œbogusโ€ and lacking legitimacy.

Senators are set to be sworn in as jurors at 1 p.m., and Schumer said he will then seek a time agreement to allow Republicans to offer motions on trial resolutions and points of order. Then will move to quickly dismiss the matter.

Why is our government always caught covering up sex crimes against children?

The LA County Probation Department now faces THOUSANDS of child abuse allegations, including rape and sexual abuse. And it turns out the Department of Justice in 2006 found SYSTEMIC child abuse at these probation halls and simply put them under "federal oversight" for 6 years.

But remember - itโ€™s all just a conspiracy theory.

What you are seeing in the videos of Dubai with the flooding should give everybody a renewed appreciation for civil engineering. There is an enormous amount of work that goes into the draining of rainwaterโ€” drainage systems which are mostly underground and almost never seen or noticed. I doubt Dubai accounts for rainwater displacement in their civil engineering surveys, given their desert climate.

If it weren't for civil engineering, our cities would look like that every time it rained.

NEWโ€”The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Wednesday, demanding information about the percentage of migrants released into the U.S., according to subpoena documents reviewed by Axios.

House Republicans' demands come the same day the Senate is poised to quickly dismiss the articles of impeachment against Mayorkas โ€” highlighting how the GOP has no plans to let up on their border attacks.

The subpoena cites reporting by Fox News that Mayorkas told border officials in January that more than 85% of migrants and asylum seekers who illegally cross the border are being released into the U.S.
