Needing prayers for my neighbors. Her name is Gloria, and his is Joel. They are a wonderful couple who welcomed us to this neighborhood after our house fire and again offered up love and encouragement after mama made the transition to Heaven.

Last week, Joel passed out whilst driving. He has been in the hospital ever since. The accident wasn’t that bad, but the cause of his passing out was.

I don’t know the exact medical issue he faces, as I didn’t ask. However, Gloria told us this morning that Joel has been moved to Hospice care and he will be going home with Jesus soon.

My heart breaks for Gloria and their lovely family. I know the pain she - and all of them - are about to endure and all I can do is pray for her.

Jesus - Please lift Joel into your arms peacefully and painlessly while at the same time blessing Gloria and Joel’s family with strength, calm and love. In Your name I pray, Amen. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

So when we bomb the shit out of some country……
