A thought I can't shake.
The hardest part of building a personal AI agent, call it OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude co-work, or anything else, is describing ourselves to it.
When it asks, "Tell me about yourself" or "What goals do you want to achieve?", we give it the version of ourselves that we can explain.
And when we describe ourselves, we perform. We simplify. We pick the version we understand, or the version we want others to see.
But our saved Reels, TikToks, "watch later" lists, and the quotes we screenshot. that's where our taste lives.
Our ambition. Our insecurity. Our future self.
So in a way... our saved folder might know us better than we do.
Because every save is a tiny confession.
Every time we bookmark something, something in us says:
"I don't fully know why, but this matters to me."
Just tried it, and tbh, this is where my assistant starts to feel real on a different level; when it starts to understand what keeps pulling us back.

one habit that quietly changed how i work:
writing things down.
before i start working, i usually list everything i need to do in my notebook and go through them one by one.
nothing fancy. but it helps me stay focused, see what's left, and use my time better.
one thing i've noticed is that whenever i write my tasks down, my mind feels less crowded. i don't have to remember everything because it's already there in front of me.
lately i'm also trying to build the habit of using my phone notes app more, but my notebook still wins for me.

software engineering starts long before writing code.
the more real projects i work on, the more time i spend on requirements, documentation, architecture, and planning.
most of the work i'm doing these days is private, so i usually share the process more than the final product.
and honestly, i'm enjoying the process.
still learning every day, one project at a time.

i sent an email. waited. followed up. still no response.
it was frustrating. a simple "yes" or "no" takes five seconds and shows basic respect.
instead of getting emotional or begging, i sent one final message. i officially withdrew my request, pointed out the lack of communication, and let them know my career was moving forward without them.
a few hours later?
i received a response, and the exact letter i needed was immediately arranged.

DNA is really so crazy. Have y’all heard that story about the woman who had a baby with her husband, but when he got a DNA test, it said he wasn’t the father?
The mother insisted he was the dad, so they repeated the test multiple times, and it kept saying the same thing. It later came out that, based on the DNA results, he wasn’t the father… but the uncle of the child. Which made no sense because he was an only child. After more extensive testing, they discovered the husband was actually a chimera, meaning he had absorbed his twin in the womb and carried two sets of DNA. So basically… the baby was biologically his twin brother’s child, even though he was the one who fathered it.

1. go to crunchbase.com, filter for companies that just raised. they have money and they're about to hire.
2. the free trial needs a card, use a bybit virtual card. Crunchbase won't track cards, so when the trial runs out you swap the email and start a fresh one.
3. pick one company a day. research what they actually build.
4. write a specific cold email. good breakdown here
5. send a linkedin dm too, hit them from both sides.
6. record a short video of yourself, why you're a fit. komodo is free and unlimited. puts you ahead of many.
it's a numbers game but quality numbers. just show up every day.
