I'm completely redoing the PIF-Next installation procedure. The current one has been bothering me because it contains too much information, so I want it to be more to the point.
Another thing is that the current autopif.sh present in PIF-Next is old and it fetches fingerprints that are too old. Recently osm0sis updated the script and I intend to update it very soon:

Crazy days.
My days have been hectic lately, for those who don't follow me: my main cell phone died out of nowhere, almost three weeks ago, and now my secondary iPhone is supplementing my use. I'm getting a new cell phone, but I'll be out of commission. On top of that, during this period, I had to move twice, to two different houses. Crazy, right? Oh, and I also had an exam, and I'll have another one this Sunday.
My life is very busy at the moment, and I appreciate those who understand. And to those who don't like me, I'm sorry to say that I'm still here. =)

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.
As some of you already know, I took a break from development to organise matters related to university, work, and my personal life.
I got a new mobile phone (a.k.a. bangkk π), but I don't intend to unlock the bootloader or maintain a testing environment at the moment. My return to development would only be possible in two situations:
1. Unlocking the bootloader only when the device loses official support or warranty.
2. Repairing my old device and resuming development in a more user-friendly way.
.
.
Unfortunately, the current certification scenario does not help: today it is mandatory to have a valid Keybox, and there are still recent reports that a well-known module is collecting user data.

Until then, I have many other plans for this channel. For now, PIF-Next is archived in the GitHub repository indefinitely. This does not mean that the project will cease to exist forever.
Until there is a solution for this, I will focus on other projects that you might like =}

So relax, put aside the turbulence and instability of Keyboxes, and I wish everyone a wonderful end of the year.
PIF-Next v3.0 still works as long as you have a recent fingerprint and a valid Keybox, but not on all devices.
Ahhoy! π₯

π¨ PlayIntegrityFix, TrickyStore & Yuri Keybox Are at Risk.
Starting February 2026, the current keybox workaround used with tools like Yuri Keybox, PIF, and TrickyStore may no longer work.
Google is rolling out mandatory Remote Key Provisioning (RKP) with new RSA-4096 attestation roots on Android 13+ devices.
At the core of this change is Googleβs move to Remote Key Provisioning (RKP). Instead of relying on static, preloaded certificates, Android will now generate cryptographic keys remotely and bind them directly to the deviceβs hardware-backed security environment.
These new certificates are signed using RSA-4096, replacing the older RSA-2048 infrastructure. This will break the old keybox-based methods that many of us rely on to pass Device and Strong Integrity checks.
πΉ Modules like PIF and TrickyStore will struggle to provide valid integrity results.
πΉ Custom keybox files (e.g., from Yuri) will gradually stop working.
πΉ Some devices might be exceptions, but most rooted setups will be affected.

For those who don't understand, here goes:
With this change, applications and services that depend on integrity will have to request an integrity request from Google, which will provide a unique and exclusive key associated with the device's hardware attestation. This means that static "keybox.xml" files will not work as before, as each new request will require a new UNIQUE and EXCLUSIVE attestation.

"So just create a module/app that will collect this valid, cryptographic attestation and it will work" β Actually, no, because each attestation is not a "reusable token," and this key via RKP is only valid for a short time, so each app/service will have to make constant requests.
