🧐 буквосочетание "th" читается двумя основными звуками: глухим [θ] и звонким [ð].

Звук [θ] — глухой, без голосовой вибрации. Язык помещают между верхними и нижними зубами, воздух выдувается, при этом голос не используется. Примеры:

think (думать) — [θɪŋk] 🧠

three (три) — [θriː] 3️⃣

thin (худой) — [θɪn]

Звук [ð] — звонкий, с голосовой вибрацией, язык тоже между зубами, но при произношении вибрирует голос. Обычно встречается в служебных словах и местоимениях. Примеры:

the (артикль "тот/эта") — [ðə] 🧾

this (этот) — [ðɪs] 👉

they (они) — [ðeɪ] 👥
