The words next to one dial were Small 😳, Medium 😊, and Large 🤩. This dial was for the size of the load. Did Pat have a small load, a medium load, or a large load? 🤔 The words next to the other dial were Cold ❄️, Warm ☕, and Hot 🔥. Did Pat want to wash her clothes in cold water, warm water, or hot water? 💦

Как читать по слогам в английском 🤔

В слоге один гласный звук 🔊. В английском слоге обязательно есть гласная (a, e, i, o, u) 🎯, а согласные могут быть или не быть 🤷‍♀️.

Какие есть слоги 🏷️

Открытый слог (заканчивается на гласную, она читается как в алфавите): 🔓

me [miː] — я 🙋‍♀️
go [ɡəʊ] — идти 🚶‍♀️
by [baɪ] — у, около 📍

Закрытый слог (заканчивается на согласную): 🔒

cat [kæt] — кот 🐱
pen [pen] — ручка ✏️
big [bɪɡ] — большой 🐘


Основные правила деления на слоги ✂️📝

1. Между двумя согласными: 👫

sis-ter (сестра) 👭
win-ter (зима) ❄️
but-ter (масло) 🧈

2. Перед одиночной согласной: 👆

pa-per (бумага) 📄
ti-ger (тигр) 🐅
