The Fortress (Wallet Hygiene)

You can make a million dollars in this market. But if you click one wrong link, it is gone in seconds.
I have seen traders with 7-figure portfolios get wiped out to $0 because they connected their main wallet to a fake mint site or a scam airdrop.
In the memecoin trenches, you are clicking on sketchy links, testing new bots, and interacting with unverified contracts. You are walking through a minefield.
To survive, you need to structure your capital like a fortress.

The 3-Tier Wallet System

1️⃣ The Vault (Cold Storage)
• Hardware: Ledger, Trezor, or Tangem.
• Rule: This wallet NEVER connects to any dApp. Not Uniswap, not OpenSea, nothing. It only sends and receives funds to your own wallets.
• Purpose: Long-term holding (BTC, ETH, SOL profits).
2️⃣ The Main Hot Wallet
• Software: MetaMask, Phantom.
• Rule: Connects ONLY to trusted, blue-chip dApps (Uniswap, Jupiter, Aave).
• Purpose: Staging area for funds.
3️⃣ The Burner Wallet (The Degen Wallet)
• Software: A fresh MetaMask/Phantom or a Telegram Bot wallet.
• Rule: This is the only wallet that touches memecoins.
• Strategy: Only keep what you are willing to lose in here (e.g., 2-5 SOL). If you hit a 10x, you instantly move the profits UP to the Main Wallet or Vault.
• Risk: If this wallet gets drained by a bad contract, you lose $500, not your life savings.
The "Revoke" Habit: Even in your Burner wallet, you leave doors open. Every time you trade a token, you approve a contract to spend your funds. If that contract is malicious, they can drain you later.
• Tool: Use Revoke.cash or the "Trusted Apps" section in your wallet settings to disconnect from old sites.

CEX vs. DEX (Where the Money is Made)

If you are waiting for a memecoin to get listed on Binance, Coinbase, or Bybit to buy it, I have bad news for you:
You are the exit liquidity.
By the time a coin hits a Tier 1 Centralized Exchange (CEX), the insiders, the snipers, and the on-chain traders are already up 10,000%. They need someone to sell to. That someone is you.
To make it in this market, you must leave the comfort of the CEX and enter the DEX (Decentralized Exchange) trenches.

The Memecoin Food Chain
1. The Birth (DEX): A coin launches on Raydium (Solana) or Uniswap (Ethereum).
o Risk: Extreme. 99% are rugs.
o Reward: This is where the 100x entries happen.
2. The Momentum (Aggregators): The coin trends on DexScreener or Dextools.
o Action: Smart retail traders enter here after verifying safety (Day 1 Checklist).
3. The Validation (Tier 2/3 CEX): Listed on MEXC, Gate, or Bitget.
o Status: The coin is "legit," but the easy money is gone.

o Scammers will make fake tokens with the exact same ticker name (e.g., ten fake "WIF" tokens).
o Never search by name. Always search by paste-copying the specific Contract Address from DexScreener or CoinGecko.
