ATTENTION!

CHOICE OF ACADEMIC STREAMS, INSTRUCTIONS AND SCHEDULE FOR 2015 E.C. ENTRY, REGULAR UG STUDENTS:

Dear 1st year students of the AAU who are not already placed in the different schools (Except AAiT): your first year program is going to be concluded shortly and you will soon be ready to choose the academic streams offered by the colleges and programs of our University. Follow the steps described on #1 below to choose your academic streams from #2 or #3. Timetable is on #4.

1. Choose your academic stream online
Please follow the following steps to make your choices online.

Go to your home page: portal.aau.edu.et.
Login by typing your username and password
Click on Admissions and choose Placement
You will find a list of academic programs.
Indicate your choices in rank order, as 1, 2, 3 . . your first choice being 1, your second choice 2, etc in front of the listed discipline/program.
Click on Submit for the confirmation

Note:
You yourself have to submit your choices using our online system.
You can also get assistance from your nearest registrar office staff to submit your choices online.
Failing to submit your choices before the set deadline means losing the opportunity to compete for your choices. Our automated placement system will place you randomly in any available slot.

4. Placement Schedule
Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 9:00 AM, Orientation to students’ on a choice of academic streams
All social science stream students’ orientation will be conducted at Lidet Adarsh, Main Campus.
EiABC students’ orientation will be conducted at EiABC campus
Other Health Sciences orientation will be conducted at
Sefre Selam Campus
Other Natural Sciences orientation will be conducted at CNCS campus, Digital Library, Fifth floor
