As previously announced, the application period for admission to graduate programs for the 2026/27 (2019 E.C.) academic year, first semester, including Master’s programs (Regular and Extension) and PhD programs, was scheduled to close on September 17, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. However, due to technical issues, some applicants were unable to generate their GAT results and, consequently, were unable to complete the registration process.
We are pleased to inform you that applicants can now generate their digital GAT certificates through the following portal: https://portal.aau.edu.et/Web/ApplyForAdmission/TestingStatus
Applicants who were affected by the technical issues can complete their graduate program application on September 18, 2026, until 5:30 p.m.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and appreciate your patience and understanding.

ለ75 ዓመታት በከፍተኛ ትምህርት፣ በምርምርና በሀገራዊ አገልግሎት የተገነባውን ልምድ፣ ዕውቀትና ኃላፊነት ከታዳጊው ትውልድ ጋር ለማገናኘት አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አንድ አዲስ በር ከፍቷል። ለበርካታ ጊዜያት ከፍተኛ ዝግጅት ሲያደርግበት የቆየውን ዘመናዊ ሞዴል ኮሚዩኒቲ የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት የዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ አመራሮች፣ የመንግሥት የሥራ ኃላፊዎች፣ ተማሪዎች እና ወላጆች በተገኙበት ዛሬ መስከረም 7 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም. በታላቅ ሥነ-ሥርዓት መርቆ ሥራ አስጀምሯል።
የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር ሳሙኤል ክፍሌ በምረቃ መርሃ-ግብሩ ላይ እንደገለጹት፣ የትምህርት ቤቱ መመረቅ የዩኒቨርሲቲው የረጅም ጊዜ እቅድ ፍሬ ያፈራበት ታሪካዊ ዕለት ነው ብለዋል። አክለውም ትምህርት ቤቱ የዘመኑን ቴክኖሎጂ የዋጁ የላቦራቶሪ ክፍሎችን፣ የስፖርት ማዕከላትን፣ ደረጃቸውን የጠበቁ የመማሪያ ክፍሎችን እና ምቹ ከባቢን ያካተተ በመሆኑ የሀገራችንን የቀጣይ ዘመን ተስፋዎች የሚቀርጹ ውጤታማ ተማሪዎችን ለማፍራት ትልቅ አስተዋጽኦ እንደሚኖረው ገልጸዋል።
በመርሀ ግብሩ ላይ የተገኙት የአዲስ አበባ ትምህርት ቢሮ ምክትል ሃላፊ እና የቢሮው ተወካይ አቶ ሳምሶን መለሰ በበኩላቸው ዩኒቨርሲቲው በከፍተኛ ትምህርት ዘርፍ ብቻ ሳይወሰን የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ሞዴል ትምህርት ቤት መክፈቱ ትውልድን በእውቀት ለመቅረጽ ያለውን ቁርጠኝነት እንደሚያሳይ ተናግረዋል። በተጨማሪም ይህ የማህበረሰብ ትምህርት ቤት የዩኒቨርሲቲው አካል በመሆኑ የላቀ የትምህርት ውጤት ብቻ ሳይሆን ከፍተኛ ፈጠራ እና ክህሎት እንደሚጠበቅበት አሳስበዋል።
