## ๐จ SCAM ALERT! ๐จ Fake Play Integrity Fixes That Can Brick Your Phone!
Hey everyone, pay attention! Play integrity issues are common these days, but the solutions are usually easy. Unfortunately, some people are exploiting this with fake "fixes" that actually contain dangerous code designed to ruin your phone!
This is what happened to me:
Last night, a user with the ID 7402776516 messaged me about a "PIF fork module" that supposedly fixes play integrity issues. I was tired and didn't think twice, so I agreed to use it later.
(See Screenshot 1: The message I received.)
When I looked at the module's code this morning, I was horrified! It contained malicious code that could completely destroy my phone.

Thankfully, I recognized the danger and didn't proceed. But many people wouldn't be so lucky.
Here's what you need to know:
โข Never download modules from unknown sources or shady websites.
โข Only trust official release channels or reputable developers.
โข Be wary of unsolicited messages about "play integrity fixes," especially those from unfamiliar users.
โข If you're unsure about anything, ask a tech-savvy friend for help.
Remember: Your phone is valuable. Don't let anyone trick you into ruining it!

BREAKING: ARM Cancels Qualcomm's Chip Design License
ARM has given Qualcomm a mandated 60-day notice of the cancellation of a license that allows Qualcomm to design its own chips based on standards owned by Arm. If the cancellation takes effect, Qualcomm might have to STOP selling products that account for roughly $39 billion in revenue or pay for massive damages.
The current situation traces its roots to a legal dispute from 2022 when ARM filed a lawsuit against Qualcomm after it acquired Nuvia. Arm claims that Qualcomm failed to renegotiate the ALA terms post-acquisition & is demanding the destruction of Nuvia's designs that were created before the Nuvia acquisition. They canโt be transferred to Qualcomm without permission.
Qualcomm, however, argues that its existing Arm architecture license already covers Nuvia's work. That said, Qualcomm accuses Arm of anti-competitive misconduct. The trial is set to begin in December 2024 & both the companies are confident of their win.

Intel and AMD Create Alliance To Defend x86 Architecture
At Lenovo Tech World, Intel and AMD announced a new x86 ecosystem advisory group. This group aims to unify the x86 architecture to enhance compatibility and innovation across products.
Both Intelโs CEO Pat Gelsinger and AMDโs CEO Lisa Su emphasized the critical role of x86 in driving technological advancements, especially in AI. Nvidiaโs CEO Jensen Huang supported the initiative, noting that fragmentation in x86 was harmful for the industry.
Linus Torvalds and Tim Sweeney are the Luminaries along with founding members Broadcom, Dell, Google, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP Inc., Lenovo, Meta, Microsoft, Oracle, and Red Hat.

Googleโs Tensor G5 to power the Pixel 10 series next year will be designed internally by Google themselves without relying on Samsung for the bulk of the work. It will be manufactured on TSMC 3nm node process.
Tensor G5 CPU: codenamed 'Laguna'
SLC: 8MB
RAM: LPDDR5X (8533 Mbps)

Sadly Google is NOT using ARM's latest X925 cores which debuted with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 recently.
TPU:
The TOPS value is 18 / 9 TOPS (INT8/FP16), making it 40% larger compared to Tensor G4 but it will be around 15% faster only. The improved TPU also comes with a few new features for Googleโs developers, such as small embedded RISC-V cores to allow running operations that are not implemented in hardware, as well as support for on-device training.
GPU:
This is the MOST disappointing part of the whole G5 chip. That's NOT because Google is ditching Mali GPU, but because Tensor G5 will feature PowerVR GPU from Imagination technologies โ IMG DXT-48-1536 clocked at 1100MHz.
These GPU are mostly used by UNISOC in their chips for smartphones. The only reason why Google switched to PowerVR GPU is due to virtualization support. It also supports Ray tracing, however, the GPU will just have 2 CU (compute units) only in 2025 for 1000$ flagship phone
Now, to get your an idea of how fast would be the GPU, some crazy people calculated the expected benchmarking value of OpenCL compute & it will score around ...... well ........ ๐คซ Let it be a surprise for Pixel fanbois .
