"manufactured" as their hostility (just like last time) was astonishing and also they were treated so different, which made it clear that they were not just any poor victims families, but there to keep real protest out.

it got clear to me that it's meant to fill the public's thirst to see them prosecuted, that's why their are being asked pseudo tough questions, to appease the public (and of course whitewash, oh, sorry, unfortunately locked down a bit too late). Thinking about it, that's why Hancock was in the jungle, so that the public got some satisfaction without him being prosecuted.
