In the first 3 days back govt has sneakily rushed through legislation to fine or imprison homeowners who don't "upgrade" their homes with preposterous measures like heat pumps and refuse smart meters.
They must have wanted to avoid any public scrutiny while people were busy settling their kids back to school.
