Join For Test My All Beta Application
For identity and app ownership verification, the option “Android Developer Verification” has been introduced. To install the apps you develop on certified Android devices, the app’s package name must be registered on Google Play.
If your app is published only on the Play Store, you do not need to take any additional steps. Google Play will automatically register it.
However, if you publish the same app outside the Play Store—such as on Samsung Galaxy Store, Amazon Appstore, Xiaomi Mi App Store, OPPO App Market, VIVO App Store, etc.—then you must manually register the app’s package name. This ensures that the app can be installed on Android devices without showing any warning messages.
Note: This requirement applies only to Android apps. It is not required for iOS or any other software.
