▢️ Small Updates Today:

The /start command was updated with a new layout, and now includes a link to the Help menu.
The Help menu itself got some tweaks to remove duplicates and phantom commands.

AI Context were improved to better handle replies and messages with captions.

The Privacy Policy (https://sophie-wiki.orangefox.tech/docs/Privacy%20policy) was updated again to clarify how stored information is processed, and a way to retrieve stored info was implemented.

Unfortunately we had to remove the Language button from the /start, as our localiaztion are way too outdated.
The localizations and /lang command remain untouched.
If you want to contribute to restore it, please use our Crowin - https://crowdin.com/project/sophiebot

The update deployed both to Stable and Beta branches.

✨ Today we are releasing the second AI-powered Feature:
The AI Respond filters!
Simply write /addfilter <keyword> like always and you'll find a new AI Respond button.

This would trigger Sophie's AI module to respond with provided AI Prompt. For example you can write a prompt why using closed-source software is bad in reply on 'Apple', Sophie will respond accordingly to the user's message and will use chat's context to provide even better replies.
You can also combine the AI Respond with other filters, to warn users, that uses iPhones, for example!
The possibilities are unlimited.

In addition of the AI Sparkes, we rewinded the /export command, and converted it to the GDPR-export handler.
And some fixes for the Federation imports/exports has been implemented, including the ability to import the compatitor's style Federation Export.

Currently, the AI update is only released in the Beta branch, we are going to slowly roll it for all users shortly.
The Federation fixes are already avaible in both branches.
Enjoy!

Today is all about Notes update.

Sophie's notes implementation was already the most powerful among the other bots, today it gets even better!

✨ Let's start with the AI-generated Notes.

Sophie got /aisave <Prompt>, which you can use to quickly generate notes using the human laguage. For example:
/aisave How to propertly report issues.
This will create a new note, automatically assign a few note names and a brand-new note description.
The note description will be placed to the /notes below note names to help users understand the content.

Under the hook, there are significant note engine changes, you will see the related improvements and new features shortly.

As always we're also fixing older issues. Today I fixed the /clearall which could crash Sophie in some niche cases.

Currently, the update is only released in the Beta branch, we are going to slowly roll it for all users shortly.
Enjoy!

Today is a very small update:
From now the /delfilter is case-insensitive.

I also would like to use this opportunity to mention that the Notes AI update was deployed for 100% of our users in both branches.

As always - enjoy!

🌐 Sophie mΓ³wi teraz po polsku!... I w wielu innych jΔ™zykach!

With the power of AI, we updated every single supported language and added missing translations!

We've also taken it a step further by adding several new languages:
πŸ‡΅πŸ‡± Polish
πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ German
πŸ‡«πŸ‡· French
πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬ Arabic, Egypt
πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ Chinese simplified

And we're completely re-translated Russian and Ukrainian due to existing translations quality issues.

Secondly, the language select button in /start was re-added back.

We're looking forward to improve language quality in Sophie, so if you see any transation issues please report them to https://t.me/SophieSupport or try to suggest a better transation on our translation platform - https://crowdin.com/project/sophiebot (registration required).

Additionally, the previous Notes AI update introduced a bug, where /notes became undisable-able, this regressing is fixed now and you can /disable /notes.

Currently, the update is only released in the Beta, we are going to slowly roll it for all users shortly.
Enjoy!

✨ Today we're adding one more AI Feature - AI Translations

Now you can write /tr (or one of aliases: /aitranslate, /translate) to quickly translate the message to the selected chat language (/lang).
This also works completely automatic with the /aiautotranslate command.
We are hosting the language detection model in-house to increase the privacy of your group's message.
AI Translations are tightly integrated with other AI Features, so if you reply to the translated message, it'll trigger the AI Chatbot feature, and you can speak about the current topic with Sophie!

But that's not all, the AI Features context was improved, Sophie will now remember more details and its own messages as well.
We updated the privacy policy to reflect those changes (write /privacy in the Sophie's PM to get the policy).

Additionally, filters got a small makeup, now /addfilter shows emoji icons for filter actions, as well as /filters.
Some other commands like /disable and /disableable were updated to the new style guidelines.
The missing command descriptions in /help were added, and some module were merged to clean it up a little bit, as well as other minor changes here and there.

🌐 I'm happy to report that all the supported languages are 100% translated, thanks to our previous update, we're now automatically translate new strings in the codebase via AI.

If you're using Beta mode - the update is already available for you. We're going to deploy to the Stable and Auto branches in upcoming days.
Enjoy.

πŸ’¬ Did you want to Speak with Sophie? Now you can!
Today we're adding support of recognizing voice messages for AI Features.

In Private Messages with Sophie you can now speak with Sophie after writing the /ai command

The /ai command in groups is now going to add replied voice message to context.

And the previously added /autotranslate is now going to translate/transcribe voice messages to text completely automatically!

Additionally, the disablings module was updated with a makeup, now the /ai and /translate commands could be disabled as well.
The /help will now show which commands could be disabled.

For the Stable branch, we're finishing the slow deployment of the previous update and now it's available for all the users.
This update will take a few more days to roll out for users, but you can try it already switching to the Beta branch.

Enjoy.

I deployed a small update that improves AI context in some cases, this results in a little bit smarter AI.

Also, /aireset command was added, that clears the current chat's context, and a corresponding button in the /ai PM-Mode.

If you're using Beta mode - the update is already available for you. We're going to deploy to the Stable and Auto branches in upcoming days.
Enjoy.

πŸ“— It's time for a Notes update!

As promised in the Notes AI update, today we're increasing the scope of the new notes engine.

While modernizing notes, I went ahead of the list of features and found some that are marginally used, so here's a list of deprecated features:
- Parse mode
- /noteinfo

Sophie's notes module was one of the most complicated and oldest ones,
unfortunately some features has to be dropped for now, but they will be re-implemented in future.
- URL Previews in notes
- Saving buttons of the replied message
- Deletion of multiple notes in the same time
- Automatic notes cleanup

Now, let's finally talk about new features!
Under the hood, /save command is now saving notes in a completely new format, and supports new stuff:
With an optional note description, you can mark notes in /notes for faster search, to do that, just write /save in this format:
/save notename "Building PCs" To build a PC you have to ...

/save now supports modern Telegram entities such as Spoilers, Quotes, Code quotes, etc.
As before, you can enter note alias in such format:
/save notename | alias-name Note Content

but now we're allowing spaces between | symbol.

The notes search command /search <Text to search> is now using database searching mechanism, which would drastically improve searching results.
Some minor bug-fixes for btnnotes were implemented. As a reminder, you can create a button in the note that would link to the Sophie's PM and automatically send another note, the syntax is:
[Button name](btnnote:notename)

The Private Notes subsystem was also revamped, to be more simple and reliable.

Now, if you /get a note, you will see that it got a note title, with a note name and description.
The emoji in it will indicate whatever the note is in legacy format (πŸ“•) or was recently saved in a new format (πŸ“—).
I have an intention to migrate all the notes to the new format, but as of now, the backwards compability will handle those using the older notes engine.

In case you have issues with the new /save, you can still use the legacy save command using /legacysave
Please report all issues / problems / ideas to the @SophieSupport.

For the Stable branch, we're finishing the slow deployment of the previous update and now it's available for all the users.
This update will take a few more weeks to roll out for users, but you can try it already switching to the Beta branch.

Enjoy.

Hi there, πŸŒπŸ‰πŸ₯

today I'm pushing the Notes and Greetings update.

First of all, I'm excited to share that we're finishing legacy notes migration, all the previously-legacy notes are being processed using brand-new Notes engine, internally the code automatically converts older Markdown, so you don't need to do anything at all.
The new engine drastically improves the code maintenance and stability of notes in Sophie. Many very ancient notes-related issues are now just gone.

Now, the Greetings got the most significant update in the last 5 years.
Greetings now supports multiple users addings, Welcome message now supports {rules} filling that would be replaced with chat's rules saved with /setrules and {mentions} that would be replaced with new users mentions.
As an alternative you can add a Rules Button to the welcome message adding [Rules](btnrules).
Of course, stickers, photos, files and other buttons as well as entities (bold/italic/spoilers...) still could be set as welcome, refer to the Notes wiki for more information.

Sophie will now send initial message to the chat once she were added.
A bunch of internal code improvements such as improved cleanwelcome / cleanservice here as well.

The Welcome Security functionality moved to its own separate module in /help,
Welcome security itself now has a brand-new beautiful-looking, very engaging and easy emoji-captcha mode. The emoji-captcha was set as default and others ones are deprecated. I personally believe that this mode will provide the same level security as the older captcha and would be the same easy to solve as older math/button levels, therefore there's no need of having multiple choices.

You can see the new captcha mode video preview in the message above.
The welcome security process now automatically asks users to agree with the group's rules, it would also send a chat welcome after passing the emoji captcha in personal messages.

Like previously, I had to drop some features to let the update happen:
- Saving custom Welcome Security messages (the message the bot invites users to pass the captcha). Nevertheless, the previously saved Welcome Security Messages are still in order and will work. Please note, that this is not Welcome Messages, as the latter would be sent to the user's PM after captcha completion and still can be customized with /setwelcome.
- Setting custom welcome security expiration date, Nevertheless, the previously saved expiration dates will continue to serve. The default one were set to 48h.
Overall, many commands were merged, please take a look at the new and clean /help pages.

The Promotes module also had a revamp in order to switch on the new framework.

The previous update (https://t.me/SophieNEWS/220) is huge, and we still didn't roll it out completely,
we're going to incorporate it with this update, therefore it could take a few weeks to be properly tested and issues being fixed before rolling it widely. Switch to the Beta version to be the first one to try!

Do not hesitate to report issues and seek for help in @SophieSupport.
Have a nice time.
