The Free Yazidi Foundation met with Newroz Ahmed (#YPJ/#SDF) & Mazloum Abdi (SDF)

➡️ They discussed about missing #Yazidis that might be in al-#Hol camp, ways to bring justice to the victims of the #yazidigenocide and how to persecute #ISIS in NE #Syria

On March 13, #SDF's Anti Terror Units (YAT) arrested an #ISIS member in the Deir ez-Zor region

➡️ He was involved in providing intelligence to ISIS cells that served to plan terrorist attacks in the region

➡️ During the operation weapons & military equipment were confiscated

🌹 9 members of #SDF's Anti Terror Units #YAT martyred in accident

➡️ 9 YAT fighters, incl commander Şervan Kobane, died in a helicopter crash caused by bad weather conditions

➡️ YAT are the special forces of the SDF, consisting of the best trained fighters, incl #YPJ members

👉 YAT forces are commited to the fight against #ISIS

➡️ In the last years, they dismantled many ISIS cells & arrested high rank ISIS personnel

➡️ #YPJ members play a leading role within YAT, establishing safety & security for the women & people of NE-#Syria

🌹 Today marks the anniversary of the martyrdom of Argentinian #YPJ member Ş. Lêgerîn Çiya

➡️ Lêgerîn joined the #Rojava Revolution with the true spirit of #internationalism, comitted to the struggle for women's liberation

➡️ On 17.3. in 2018 she lost her life in a car accident
