Our new office is beginning work at a time when #Turkey murders #YPJ members in targeted assassinations.

🌹We dedicate our work to those who heroically fought #ISIS but were murdered by Turkey

Jiyan Tolhildan was a founding member of #YPJ. She battled against #ISIS in #Syria & averted the ISIS danger for us all around the world risking her own life. On 22 July when returning from a women’s conference, #Turkey killed her with her comrades Roj & Barîn in a drone strike.

Being an experienced commander of our Anti Terror Units she trained hundreds of women, militarily, as well as politically. She was a vanguard of women’s liberation who inspired women to fight for real democracy & gender equality.

This is why #Turkey targeted & killed her.
