Our SDF forces and the International coalition forces continue the anti-ISIS operation in the region. About five operations have been conducted over the last two weeks.
On December 16, our SDF Counter-terrorism Units, supported by the international coalition forces, arrested one of the ISIS local emirs (leaders) in the al-Kasra district, Deir Ezzor western countryside. The arrested terrorist was responsible for leading the ISIS terrorist cells in the region.
Based on precise intelligence information, our forces raided the house of the terrorist and arrested him, and confiscated documents and communication devices.

Newroz Ehmed & Mezlum Abdi from the #SDF General Command were helding a meeting with #PUK's President Bafel Jalal Talabani and @CJTFOIR.
The meeting was emphasizing a peaceful resolution of current situation & joint efforts to combat #ISIS.
The meeting was attended by Mahmoud Barkhdan (#SDF General Command), the co-chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of #AANES Badran Çiya Kurd, as well as General Wahab Halabji, Commander-in-Chief of the Counter-Terror Forces in the #Kurdistan Region of #Iraq.
