Der Krieg in der Ukraine geht weiter und wir finden es wichtig, weiterhin zusammen zu kommen, darüber zu sprechen und Raum zu schaffen, um praktische Solidarität, als auch anarchistische Perspektiven auf die Lage zu erarbeiten. Am Sonntag wollen wir den Tag genau dafür nutzen. Es wird Küfa geben und Kiezradio mit den aktuellen Infos zur Situation. Außerdem wollen wir zusammen kommen und diskutieren. Auf einem Infotisch sammeln wir aktuelle Texte zur Lage. Kommt gern vorbei, bringt Poster, Texte, Ideen, Transpis. Wir freuen uns.

If we burn out we're not going to be helpful to anyone at all. As contradictory as it may sound, taking a time-out and some you-time instead can actually be very beneficial to volunteer work, but if you're engaged longer it really becomes mandatory.

Kinda off topic but it is story time. I will tell a tale of a competent medical practitioner.

Once upon this morning, I may or may not have visited my GP* to try to get prescriptions to replace medication I donated.

And possibly his reaction would have been "Well, if you donated it of course I'll prescribe a replacement!", but we'll never know. Possibly he'd have given me some things to donate as well when I visited, but it remains a mystery.

Should these things have happened, he likely would ahave donated a fair amount of things already.

It may or may not be that I'd be really fond of this doctor. And we'd have happily pestered the insurances ever after.
