I have some news. Due to acute problems with my spine I had to see some doctors and after years of trying to find someone who feels competent enough to do so I finally succeeded.
I knew for a long time I was likely to have Ehlers-Danlos-Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder (Q79.6 in ICD-10), now I have it as a secured diagnosis, this means no more being stuck in the same spot, no more not being believed by doctors.
Now the system has to disprove the status quo instead of me having to constantly prove myself and justify each of my words.
For the ones interested in what is up with my spine: It is very unstable and I have cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy due hypermobility in EDS.
In short, screwed up neck, lots of pain and weird feelings/numbness/weakness in limbs. It's unpleasant, but I'm scheduled for MRI and have a referral to specialists.
May all the med nerds amongst you have fun diving down wikipedia rabbit-holes.
