First of all, our apologies for the chaotic launch last night. To be as transparent as possible, we would like to take this waiting time to explain all proceedings starting from yesterday 19.00 until now.

There will be a new smart contract for Xpose Protocol. After finding, and analyzing the bug in the current smart contract, the team has no other choice than to create a whole new one.
After rigorous testing and bug fixing the team has found the following issues in the currently deployed smart contract :
- The trigger amount in the contract was set to 5000, which was too low. This was a field that wasn’t configurable.
- Fee changes. The contract did not store commissions.
- logic within the contract that was clashing with the PancakeSwap algorithm
This is the reason we are forced to make a completely new smart contract for Xpose Protocol. We want to emphasize stopping sending tokens with the current contract. This will cause an endless cycle situation for swapping tokens.
The team is already working on a plan and a timeline to rectify these issues taking into consideration re-auditing and testing the new contract before launch. We can expect the updated contract to be live in a few days. We will update you regarding the exact timelines tonight.
Because of the recent false accusations, there has been a rotation in the team of advisors. This has led to taking them from the website and that advisors and inspirators will only be communicated on social media channels.

On Tuesday, the 24th of August, the XPS holder snapshot will be taken and audited for re-distribution. The contract audit will be completed as well.

This 12.00 update will be the last in the 12.00 & 22.00 CET updates. Starting today, Xpose Protocol will give a weekly update every Tuesday. In this update, we will reflect on the last week, and look forward to the upcoming week.
Let's start by saying the XPS team is very excited to be finally launching the new token today. We all know it has been a bumpy ride until now, but we see a bright future together with our loyal holders.
As said in yesterday's 22.00 update, the XPS distribution will start at around 17.00 CET today. Once the distribution has started, the community will be the first to know!
Lastly, there have been some changes in token allocation. The total supply has been reduced from 30.000.000.000 to 10.186.921.194.
Also, the team reduced the team tokens by 3.500.000.000. The total team tokens will now be 1.000.000.000 instead of 4.500.000.000. These team tokens will be vested. 60% will be released after 6 months, followed by the release of the remaining 40% after 12 months.
Next to this, the tokens remaining after the swap is closed will be burned. There is a burned plan regarding these tokens, and this will happen right away once the swap is closed.
