First of all, our apologies for the chaotic launch last night. To be as transparent as possible, we would like to take this waiting time to explain all proceedings starting from yesterday 19.00 until now.
All processes were extensively tested in the days before the launch date. Unfortunately, right before launching time, an error in the contract occurred. We needed to add a piece of code to make sure that the fees for XPS were correct distributed on each transaction. For this reason, we postponed the launch until later in the evening.
Sadly, there was a major bug found shortly after launching the contract ID. For some reason, the buying function on PancakeSwap was not working, and therefore people were not able to buy the new XPS token, subsequently leading to the disbalance in the chart.
Our technical partner has been performing different tests since last night, to figure out how to solve the buying issue.
Right now, our number 1 priority is to fix the buying issue as soon as possible!

After this, the team will collect all the questions and make sure the questions are on the website at 16.00 CET, the 23rd of August. At 20.00 CET, all questions will be answered.

There will be a new smart contract for Xpose Protocol. After finding, and analyzing the bug in the current smart contract, the team has no other choice than to create a whole new one.
After rigorous testing and bug fixing the team has found the following issues in the currently deployed smart contract :
- The trigger amount in the contract was set to 5000, which was too low. This was a field that wasn’t configurable.
- Fee changes. The contract did not store commissions.
- logic within the contract that was clashing with the PancakeSwap algorithm
This is the reason we are forced to make a completely new smart contract for Xpose Protocol. We want to emphasize stopping sending tokens with the current contract. This will cause an endless cycle situation for swapping tokens.
The team is already working on a plan and a timeline to rectify these issues taking into consideration re-auditing and testing the new contract before launch. We can expect the updated contract to be live in a few days. We will update you regarding the exact timelines tonight.
Because of the recent false accusations, there has been a rotation in the team of advisors. This has led to taking them from the website and that advisors and inspirators will only be communicated on social media channels.
