The teenager (a friend of my daughters)I took into my home so many years ago because her mother didn’t want her has become a wonderful young woman. She calls me her mom. She’s part of our family and has grown into a beautiful woman who loves Jesus.
I wanted to take in my son’s friend who had a hard life at home but my son reminded me that his parents would not let me. I love children!!!

Lin is the only one that continually speaks out against child sex trafficking.

Hello, Internet world!

I know I’ve not been active on Telegram for quite some time now, but I have been focusing on my home ministry and some recent changes that my family is going through. Fortunately, through Christ, my family is persevering and we are walking in faith every day. I appreciate your prayers.

As crazy as this world is, I’m at peace within the storms knowing that Jesus is my savior and through him I will rest in Heaven one day.

Isn’t that really what this life is about? Learning how to weather the storms that come our way. I’ve found that it gets much easier and peaceful with every storm when I lean more on the discernment that God almighty has blessed us with.

As a follow up to Drew Trammell’s message above, it is a good time for me to again recognize and thank Drew and John Exum for their ongoing efforts as board members of #FightBack Foundation.

A “Note from President Trump.”

The overnight envelope on my doorstep got wet in the rain before my next door neighbor in Atlanta, Bob Sauban, retrieved it.

I will save and cherish this note for the rest of my life in earth.

And I hope one day to pass it along to my grandson, Nash.

A very dear #FightBack supporter sent me a text this morning, in part reminding me that today was 'The National Day of Prayer.'

What I believed to be a memory immediately stirred of newly sworn-in President Ronald Reagan stating his belief that "every day should be a day of prayer." I was unable to find that exact quote, and so I was probably mistaken.

What President Reagan actually said was this:
"I'm told that tens of thousands of prayer meetings are being held on this day, and for that I'm deeply grateful. We are a nation under God, and I believe God intended for us to be free. It would be fitting and good, I think, if on each Inaugural Day in future years it should be declared a day of prayer." https://www.reaganlibrary.gov/archives/speech/inaugural-address-1981

President Reagan's remarks at the May 6, 1982 National Day of Prayer Ceremony have even better quotes:

"French Philosopher Alexis de Toqueville visiting America 150 years ago marveled at Americans because they understood that a free people must also be a religious people. 'Despotism,' he wrote, 'may be able to do without faith, but freedom cannot.'"

The icing on the cake, at least for me, comes with his quote from one of my favorite verses of Scripture:
"if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." – 2 Chronicles 7:14.
