Continuing the legacy, Xiaomi 17 Pro overheats!
In the AnTuTu test, the temperature rose from 32°C to as high as 49°C. The phone became unusable frequently while using the camera as the device needs to be cooled down first before you can use it even after featuring liquid cooling pump 3D system blah blab blah Vapor chamber.

Xiaomi's HyperOS: Where Every Third-Party App Gets an 'Exit Interview'
Xiaomi allows users to uninstall system apps like gallery from its hyperOS. While doing it, Xiaomi has added an interface that will warn the users about cons of uninstalling that particular system app like, when uninstalling the gallery app, "photos and albums could not be viewed" etc
However, its Xiaomi, thus Xiaomi's own software interfaces have NO authentication at all. So, 3rd apps like Byte dance and Kuaishou are now abusing this feature to scare users if they try to uninstall their app.
For example, when you try to uninstall TikTok, it will show a prompt saying that:
"You will not be able to see the latest updates from your friends or the authors you follow, nor will you receive messages from your friends."
Xiaomi can't even implement app uninstallation properly in their software smh

If you think Xiaomi is any better in China in the after-sales service area, turns out even Samsung is better in China
The first batch of Xiaomi 17 series units have their back panel f*cked with the residual trace caused by the packaging box.
But Xiaomi simply denied the replacement claiming that the back panel of the first batch units cannot be changed or replaced because you bought a Xiaomi product.
In future, the process will be improved but to all those who bought Xiaomi 17, kindly cry about it in the corner

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has worse thermals than last gen, and its own small brother, the Xiaomi 17.
Last gen, the Xiaomi 15 Pro had worse (or sometimes on par) thermals as the base 15, despite, being a much bigger phone!
Why? Xiaomi went and used a sandwich stacked motherboard (like Apple, nice inspiration Lei Jun!) which traps heat. This time around, there's an extra display on the back to make things worse! It truly is a heat sandwich this time around.
Why does a bigger phone with more space need sandwich mobos and a 6.3 incher doesn't? Only Lei can answer the mystery.
