I had a different plan, but here I am.

Most of my posts from now on are going to be about building a startup. Yeah, I’m crazy enough to think I can and should build one. Like I always do.
I’ll be posting about it a lot here. To be honest, my target audience isn’t Ethiopians, and I never planned to build a startup for local users. This isn’t about selling anything it’s just me sharing my journey.

I’m officially past the side projects era. I’ve been building a lot of products lately (over 4, actually). It’s also been a while since I quit my job. I’ve had offers, but I believe this is worth the shot, and I’m ready to do whatever it takes. This is the hill I’m willing to die on. No other way. God will help me. I’m going to make it.

So buckle up you’re gonna see a lot of failures here. Or maybe you’ll be smart enough to avoid my mistakes.

the last time theory is a quietly haunting idea: there will be a final time for everything you love, and you almost never know when it’s happening.

a last time you answered a phone call from someone who later disappeared from your world.

the theory nudges you to notice life while it’s being lived. to realize that even the mundane exit door clicks behind you for the last time someday. it isn’t meant as a gloomy countdown. it’s more like an invitation to be awake. savor the coffee. hold the hug a little longer. look up from the screen when someone is laughing next to you.

life rarely gives a warning that a moment matters. the theory is just a reminder that it does.

²³ የቀናውን መንገድ ለሰው ያስታውቀው ዘንድ፥ ከሺህ አንድ ሆኖ የሚተረጕም መልአክ ቢገኝለት፥
²⁴ እየራራለት፦ ቤዛ አግኝቻለሁና ወደ ጕድጓድ እንዳይወርድ አድነው ቢለው፥
²⁵ ሥጋው እንደ ሕፃን ሥጋ ይለመልማል ወደ ጕብዝናውም ዘመን ይመለሳል።
²⁶ ወደ እግዚአብሔር ይጸልያል፥ እርሱም ሞገስን ይሰጠዋል ፊቱንም በደስታ ያሳየዋል፤ ለሰውም ጽድቁን ይመልስለታል።
²⁷ እርሱም በሰው ፊት እየዘመረ፦ እኔ በድያለሁ፥ ቅኑንም አጣምሜአለሁ፤ የሚገባኝንም ብድራት አልተቀበልሁም፤
²⁸ ነፍሴ ወደ ጕድጓድ እንዳትወርድ አድኖአታል፥ ሕይወቴም ብርሃንን ታያለች ይላል።
²⁹ እግዚአብሔር ይህን ሁሉ ሁለት ጊዜና ሦስት ጊዜ ከሰው ጋር ያደርጋል፤
³⁰ ይህም ነፍሱን ከጕድጓድ ይመልስ ዘንድ፥ በሕያዋንም ብርሃን ያበራ ዘንድ ነው።
³¹ ኢዮብ ሆይ፥ አድምጥ፥ እኔንም ስማ፤ ዝም በል፥ እኔም እናገራለሁ።
³² ነገር ቢኖርህ መልስልኝ ትጸድቅ ዘንድ እወድዳለሁና ተናገር።
³³ ያለዚያም እኔን ስማ፤ ዝም በል፥ እኔም ጥበብን አስተምርሃለሁ።
