world bipolar day is on march 30

for the coming 5 days, i will be speaking boldly about my experience living with bipolar disorder for the last 9 years after getting diagnosed in 2017

i am a firm believer that we can thrive against all odds with the help of God and modern medicine/resilience. some of the big names in art, literature, and creative works are bipolar.

there seems to be a correlation in creativity/intelligence and mental illnesses, but that's another topic that deserves curious research. meanwhile, i wrote this short article years ago based on what worked for me in this journey of battling a mental illness to avoid compromising potential and overall fulfillment in life.
