I shipped a lot this week.
Building features and fixing bugs has gotten much faster thanks to AI and agentic coding. Ironically, what still takes up most of my time isn’t coding—it’s the paperwork: writing App Store release notes, product descriptions, PR summaries, and marketing copy.
So I built recap-wins.
It’s a terminal tool that reads your Git diffs and turns them into polished release notes for the App Store, Google Play, pull requests, and even social media announcements.
Less time writing about your work. More time shipping it.
If you’re a mobile developer publishing to the App Store or Google Play, give it a try:

recap-wins is updated
v0.2.0 enables you render changelogs, review notes, and marketing artifacts on an html file hosted on your own machine (localhost).
This fixes the readability problem we have with everything coming on the terminal.
rw writes its own changelogs with every PR making it meta and sentimental to what it does.
try --html on rw commands today

I have been working on 2 native projects these days. Ledgerly and HandleMe have both iOS and Android ports with native languages and frameworks. As an iOS developer, I prioritize shipping for iOS and sometimes overlook gaps and parity in the Android ports. Missing features, bug fixes, or additional improvements should be available on both platforms, which is why I built recap-wins.
The align feature/command in the recap-wins CLI tool is so powerful and solves the pain point every indie mobile developer shares. The goal is to ship for both worlds and keep it seamless and smooth for each audience, regardless of OS and devices.
Try recap-wins today by installing it from Homebrew

Exurbia once said "Chess is a taste of the infinite!". I think we have a serious contender with vibe coding. First coined by Andrej Karpathy, vibe coding is the perfect combination of getting shit done and not sure how or if it get's it done like a slot machine.…
