Suddenly, setting up a Linear or Trello board for my personal projects doesn't sound pretentious and narcissistic anymore
Jira is the Reddit of project management softwares
I just can't stay on it for a minute

This will be the first Dub Dub where developers don't primarily use Xcode
WWDC26 will be a little different for me. After working as an iOS developer for more than 4 years and publishing apps and SDKs for clients and employers, I have finally enrolled in the Apple Developer Program with the Wyoming LLC I formed.
Enrolling in the developer program has been difficult from Ethiopia, which has prevented me from shipping my own iOS apps. And the most I could do with my skills and the resources I have was push my code to GitHub and make each personal project a public repo to signal competence to potential employers and clients.
But this year, I have 2 apps in an external beta testing phase through TestFlight. Both apps are close to my heart when it comes to the problems they try to address. Last week, I invited interested testers and shared the initial beta builds for Ledgerly and HandleMe.
That's why this WWDC will be different for me. I have got things going on as an indie developer, and I hope to be building a lot of cool products and shipping them to the App Store.
If you see this account for the first time, hey! I am Yohannes Haile. I build apps for the iPhone. And now I can ship them too, for a personal cause.

I'm starting to believe I am shadowbanned on LinkedIn
Usually, it wouldn't take me 5 minutes to get the first reaction on my posts
Now, it feels like I am nobody
