NCERTs are must to do resources to avoid FOMO because UPSC Is going to surely ask from it.
Reasons ?
-To respect the govt issued resources .
- Universally available resources to each person sitting in every corner of India . Be it in Delhi or be it in Tripura.
- Being a constitutional body upsc provides equality under article 14 . So every such box in your NCERTs is important.

Repost, as people asked in DM : How to recall so much data in mains: It may look weird ๐ , funny or sense less ๐คข ๐คข but wanted to share ๐๐ These are my front wall tiles of washroom where I spent daily 20 minutes while facewashing , doing brush etc.
During 2023 mains , I wrote almost all imp data crisp points on these tiles with permanent marker . One topic - One tile .๐ and it became a habit to have a glance on it daily while brushing my teeth. Result was - it all came on my tips by graphical memory. โ๏ธ As such I didn't struggle to remember data on particular topic.
Make every minute productive during mains !!
Disclaimer : Beware of your landlord or father at home before initiating such adventure๐๐ ๐

Whenever you read NCERT , read between the lines and make linkages between pages. Everyone reads NCERT but not in the correct way. Questions will surely come from it as they are govt Universally available resources. very low hanging fruits !!
The above images are of class 7th NCERT. we can't ignore them or one should not mark these bits wrong. We keep on studying so heavy things but marginalise these NCERTs.
Every mark counts hence give equal respect to every question. No matter if it's of 7th class book. If it's helping , respect it. It will reward you back. Utlise the theory of Lion and Fox . Be smart in both coverage be it of Heavy Upinder Singh type books (Lions) ๐ฆ or Short smart NCERTs(Foxes). ๐ฆ

Very basic but Important things for nest month MAINS. posting it in advance. save this or keep in mind. from pen to management . almost all covered.
1-Slot Practicing: Start time bound writing. Like 40 minutes - 5X10m , 35 minutes - 3x15M questions .
2- Watch/Time management - Use the stop watch (see pic) , then practice with a clear dial watch (see pic) . Girls- Don't use small dial female watch . Have a clear big dial male watch where u can check even seconds. Try to save 5-6 seconds per minute . Slowly it will save 1 minute in 15 marker. And in the end you will save 10 minutes in whole paper. Those are helpful in attempting last questions. Which we generally spoil.
3- Rattafication: These days focus more on "content on tips" part. If needed mug it up using mnemonics. If any one says by brainstorm u will generate points in exam. It's not true. Atleast 60% of answer should be ready made in exam. Rest 40% in onspot produced by content modification. Also try to have a readymade diagram for every topic. You can draw diagram first. Even if needed then you can write both intro and conclusion altogether in starting of answer. So that a synch is made . People did it.
4- Syllabus Mapping - when u see any mains question. You must be able to map the exact topic and exact ratta/on tip content instantly. Mnemonics are useful here.
5- Pen: is like weapon of wars ! Don't be too economic here. Finalise your pen Now ! also strictly write on standard size ans sheet.at X IAS its already posted here. Check this we posted exact sized one upsc answer sheet. A few good pens are - V5, V7, V7RT , V7 grip , Hauser Germany, Pentel Energel 0.7 , pentonic , linc glyser, Trimax. a new in market is : Saino brand and another brand is Fiago. both are too cheap and equal to Pilot (costlier).
6- As the exam comes your fingers and hands will give u challenge (if it's first mains). As 3 of my freinds (including me) got index finger swallowing in September2023. Don't not worry. It's normal. Keep writing. Take medicine or balm.
7- Mocks : are important but not at the cost of content and revision. in last month overall give 10-12 FLT for time simulation . And give 2 papers in one day too. Go offline, if possible.
8- Too much of guidance is detrimental. Avoid it. Do whatever suits you. Plan your way that how you would attmpt the paper withinn time . One way is - 5-10-5 format. First 5x10M then 10x15M then at last 5x10M.
10- Don't try to be perfectionist ,it gives pressure. And u underperform. Do good in starting 5 answers. First impression is last impression in examiner mind !
You need 8 best answers , 8 average answers and 4 can be below average . Thats it ! It's enough to get you interview call.
Ralax ! sab ho jata end tak aate aate.๐
Take care.

How to manage state PCS along with UPSC.
Read the below ๐ things.
As a few PCS(like UPPCS) have seen huge changes in recent years after the joint meeting of all PCS and UPSC . Hence paper pattern is changed. And more Inclined towards UPSC.
Last year , i myself cleared UPSC, UPPCS, HCS all prelims which happened within the single month. I found 3 Deciding factors which helped to clear both UPSC and PCS prelims together in same year.
1- Deciding factor 1 : Conceptual knowledge. any PCS( except a few) had atleast 50% stuff that is common to UPSC. So make sure u have your UPSC static very strong specially subjects like geography ,history, polity. They will surely have huge weightage in pcs.
2- Deciding factor 2- Factual things. Specially in Subjects like Science. Slowly cover the GHATNACHAKRA book (they have almost all exam PCS MCQ) but be selective here. If u have time issue , Focus only on Science+Geo+History+polity .
3-Deciding factor 3 : current affairs. This is most crucial. Here be a litttle unconventional. Broaden your horizon. Do extra from others. And take a lead.
Remember it's just 7-8 extra questions which matter . Else almost evey good candidate gets equal range marks. So key is how to get those extra 7-8 questions right.
Key here is overall multidimensional attack.
Means "Concepts+Facts+ Edge giving CA" will give u seat in any PCS mains. If one thinks only one portion out of three is sufficient.
No it's not ! It will be a cutoff boundary case.
Earlier you know this, better it is. If you are going to attempt any exam. Go to qualify it. Dont be a boundary case. Hope you get me.
Good Luck !

I more often get such mails , If u also struggle with such cases again n again I know it hurts. Let me explain this case :
See , most of people keep on studying these polity , geography type standard subjects because they have fixed resources like laxmikant etc and are easy to study. Also they invest most time in overdo of current affairs with XYZ current affairs Analysis.
Reason : we have many hype on youtube like Finish Laxmikant in 10 days , full year marathon current affairs , most imp 300 polity questions , 100s of Summaries of Eco survey & Budget blah blah ..and u keep on ignoring other subjects.
But what about conceptual Science & Tech , Biology , Medieval , Ancient , Art & Culture , Conceptual Economy etc ??๐ฅบ
The only solution to this problem is - Master your Marginalized subjects. I repeat Static is all weather freind. It will help . Overdo of Current affairs is like one sided love . Won't give reward , no matter how much hard work u put on. Dhokha milega !๐ฅถ
Master your any 5 static Subjects with good CA . No body will stop you in prelims. But you must know the meaning of "Master" here . That takes hard work and proper direction and analysis of your failures. Just blind running leads you no where.
So sit, understand the approach then execute.
Obviously we run a single affordable paid course BTS2.0 to value our hard work, but Everything here is not for selling course or etc. There is something so called "Help". Let us do whatever max we can freely. ๐
So In case you have any specific but genuine such issue.

Contd.... From above โ๏ธโ๏ธ
Lets understand with example.
Check yourself with these questions.
Try to answer in mind.
Part-A
Hyped subjects bits(polity, current affairs)
1- why president is called an integral part of parliament ?
2- In Which way the supreme court judge is removed ?
3- Can money bill be introduced in rajya sabha ?
4- What is the issue between Israel and Palestine ?
5- Tell me the 5 imp points from Budget/eco survey.
6- what is 2+2 dialogue with india and US.
7- What is ramsor convention and how many ramsor sites are there in India ? Tell me 5 site names.
Part-B
Marginalized Subjects bits:
1- Tell me 3 basic difference between PSLV and GSLV other than the no. of stages .
2- What are 3 Difference among geostationary, geosynchronous orbits and their usage ?
3- what is overall photosynthesis process and their end products , what is dark reaction ?
4- explain isotherm movement in korther hemisphere during winters . (Upsc 2023 , 2024)
5- Explain the 4 features of condition so callled 'liquidity trap' in economy.
6- why proportional taxation is so called "automatic stablizer of economy " ?( 12th NCERT)
Attmepted ?
Result check :
If you feel more comfortable in part A but not in part B. Then you need serious change of shift . Focus on part B in this time as it's perfect time to master them. Just before Prelims it's tough.
If you feel more comfortable in part B. U are already done with major things but need to do good things in current affairs too. U are at better position already.
If you feel uncomfortable in both. Please work hard with proper planning. This game is brutal. Market is full of misguidance . And no body cares for you . This is right time to plan and execute. Don't waste time . Get up , slowly it will be done for sure. Don't worry it will be done . Aapke liye filhaal เคเคฐเคพเคฎ เคนเคฐเคพเคฎ เคนเฅ !
PS: My words might hurt u if u didn't feel comfortable above . You may think I knowingly tested u by wrong ways. Trust me I did not . Sooner or later you will agree with these words.
My only task is to clear the illusionary air. Many of people are running blind with emotions but not with the mind. So it was just a try to give a self check to u. I apologise if I found to be wrong . As far as I think this is right as per my experiences.
