We have evolved difficulty into the concept of Power! Your power is individual in each specific pool. Power indicates what % of your reward you will receive for mining.

Power is measured by the number of tokens you hold and the number of tokens required to receive maximum rewards. The required hold to receive 100% rewards increases by a small amount every hour until it reaches the peak level(the next level of mining rewards for hold).

Each pool has a minimum reward that you will receive regardless of the number of tokens you hold. In most cases it is 50%. That is, even if you have no tokens and your Power = 0, you will receive 50% of your reward!
