In some countries the government promotes public transport as the primary means of transportation, and discourages private vehicle ownership.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of this policy?

It is undeniable that some governments are encouraging public transport as the main type of transportation, and reducing the use of private vehicles in many countries. Although this trend can be seen as a drawback, I strongly believe that the benefits of it are far more significant.

Admittedly, there are several downsides to promoting public transport and preventing private one. First, this policy can create/cause a protest among some individuals.
It is not a secret that the majority of wealthy or diplomatic individuals will not prefer to use public transport such as the bus or metro, and they more probably choose their own private cars to commute or go to their destination. Therefore, if the government enacts the aforementioned policy, there may be disagreement between diplomats and governments. As well as this, the reduction of utilizing private vehicles can affect the economy of the country. Now that a large number of the population of the country uses public vehicles as a prime means of transportation, there will be less attention toward private cars. Hence, the sales of these cars could be diminished, thereby it has detrimental effects on the budget of the country.

Nevertheless, I would argue that the positive outcomes of developing the usage of public transportation as well as decreasing the ownership of private transportation are worth mentioning. To begin with, this policy can have a positive impact on the environment. Since each car produces hazardous gas called carbon dioxide, this gas can pollute the atmosphere. By declining the figure for private cars, governments can address this environmental issue. Aside from that, governments and people can take advantage of choosing buses or metro as primary transportation. For instance, people can save up their money by using public transport, while the government reduces the demand for oil or petrol by discouraging private cars.

In conclusion, though promoting public transportation and preventing private one is not without its disadvantages, I am of the opinion that the advantage of this trend should not be overlooked.

People are using a lot of online language translation apps.

Are there more advantages than disadvantages to such services?

It is undeniable that utilizing different apps that translate languages is becoming ubiquitous among many individuals. While this trend might be seen as a drawback, I strongly believe the benefits of these services are far more significant.

Admittedly, there are several downsides to using online translation apps.First, there are maybe be a misunderstanding when translating two languages with aforementioned apps. It is no secret that most translation apps such as Google translate can be translated with the use of AI or IT programmers not linguistics, thereby words or sentences may not be properly translated, leading to not wholly understanding the context of the translating sentences. As well as this, students could rely solely on translating apps when they want to determine the meaning of the foreign words. Now that individuals constantly use these apps, they less likely memorize the meaning of the new vocabulary in their native language. Hence, their language learning skills can be diminished thanks to the apps which translate languages.

I , nevertheless, would argue that the positive outcomes of language translating apps are worth mentioning in many ways. To begin with, these apps can be beneficial when it comes to translating sentences or words in hurry situations. Take applicants as an example, they have to send the translated documents when applying for abroad. In this way, they may not want to translate all of their documents by themselves, thereby by utilizing online language apps, applicants can help to not only save their time but also their energy. Aside from that, translation apps open the doors to communicate with the foreign people. Since these types of programs can translate the words at the click of button, individuals can easily speak or text with overseas ones, contributing to connect the people of the two different cultures. Simply put, the more individuals use these apps, the more opportunities to the interconnected world.

In conclusion, using online language translation apps is not without its disadvantages, the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages as mentioned above.

An increasing number of professionals, such as doctors and teachers, are leaving their own poorer countries to work in developed countries.

What problems does this cause? What solutions can you suggest to deal with this situation?

It is undeniable that the vast majority of doctors or teachers have been leaving their own developing countries to developed ones in the search for work in recent years. This trend can create several problems unless prevented by a set of countermeasures.

Admittedly, the departure of such professionals can lead to numerous issues for their country. First, this situation can be associated with brain drain. It is no secret that the movements of highly skilled and qualified people to another country to earn money can affect the economy of the country. Now that there are no adequate professionals such as teachers and doctors in a poor country, the demand for them will increase, contributing to the decline in the quality of education and healthcare. As well as this, this trend can also have negative implications for the health and education systems of the country. In this way, the absence of these professional teachers and doctors can increase the number of unskilled counterparts in their field, thereby poor countries become poorer as well as rich countries become richer with the breakthrough of qualified people.

Nevertheless, I would argue that there are some feasible solutions that governments can take to deal with this alarming issue. To begin with, governments' bodies can increase the salary of their employers, especially professionals. By boosting the amount of the wage of the skilled individuals, they tend to stay in their own country as opposed to going to foreign countries for better job opportunities. Aside from that, many opportunities should be provided by companies or maybe the government for professionals. For instance, these job opportunities include traveling abroad once a year, annual rewards, insurance policy, and monthly day offs for them.

In conclusion, even though specialists are moving from their countries to developed states for problems such as brain drain and a lack of facilities, the solutions mentioned above can help them retain these professionals

Studies suggest that many teenagers these days prefer socialising online to meeting one another in person.

Why do you think this is the case?

What measures could be taken to encourage teenagers to spend more time meeting one another in
person?

It is undeniable that the vast majority of teenagers would rather meet online than socialize face-to-face nowadays. While it has various complex causes, I can propose some practical measures in addressing it.

Admittedly, there are several reasons why children prefer online meetings to in person ones. First, socializing through several social media platforms can save time, and it is convenient for teenagers. It is no secret that online messengers such as Telegram and Zoom offer a wide array of opportunities to conduct meeting with someone or a group, thereby children mostly use these social websites for quick meetings as opposed to meet in person. As well as this, socializing online in preference to meeting face-to-face can be a great opportunity for introverts who less socialize with others in real life. Thanks to social platforms, this type of children can not only create their online atmosphere but also effortlessly communicate with other people who may be like-minded.

Regardless of the above-mentioned reasons, I am strongly in favor of encouraging teenagers for offline meetings with the integration of school authority, as well as parents. To begin with, school administration should hold on to several collective games and events at school. By doing so, students can be involved in team-up games, where they have a chance to communicate with other students. Hence, this creates a relationship bond, leading to frequently meeting in person outside the school for other purposes. Aside from that, parents can contribute to increasing the number of offline meetings by providing a weekly party in their home. In this way, youngsters can gather in an event with their friends, thereby they do not have to use online social media to have a conversation with each other.

In conclusion, even though socializing online rather than face-to-face meeting one another in person among teenagers is for numerous reasons, most feasible measures have a great deal to benefit if parents and school authorities promote this through conducting weekly social events for teenagers.
