Fast food is becoming a part of life everywhere, negatively affecting our lifestyles and diets.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is undeniable that fast food is an inseparable part of our lives. However, eating these types of food has negative implications on not only our diet but also our daily lifestyle. I partly agree with this statement as I recognize some benefits of fast food.

Admittedly, there are several downsides to eating fast food for our health. First, the most promising negative effect of fast is that it can trigger to becoming obese. It is not a secret that fast food contains a large proportion of fat, which is the starting point of being overweight when people consume them constantly. As well as this, fast food somehow makes us lazy people. Now that this fast food can be prepared in a short period, we tend to avoid preparing traditional food, thereby resulting in a decline in eating traditional food. Simply put, the more people eat junk food the more unhealthy lifestyles.

Nevertheless, I would argue that the positive outcomes of instant food are worth mentioning. To begin with, fast food can be convenient for individuals who have hectic lifestyles. As many students, as well as workers, have tight schedules, they spend less amount of time for having breakfast or dinner. Therefore, the most preferable option is,,hot dogs or hamburgers'', since they are fast-prepared. Aside from that, the cost of the majority of fast food is inexpensive. By purchasing processed food instead of traditional ones, individuals can save their money for other purposes.

In conclusion, though the negative effects of fast food on our daily lifestyle and diets are essential to note, the benefits of them should not be overlooked.

Money should be spent on creating new public buildings such as museums or town halls rather than renovating the existing ones.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There is a view that governments should spend their budget on creating new public buildings like town halls or museums in preference to repairing the existing ones. I partly agree with this statement as I recognize some benefits of refurbishing the old buildings.

Admittedly, there are several upsides to building new buildings as opposed to repairing the old ones. First, newly-built buildings can incorporate cutting-edge technological advancements. It is no secret that these buildings can be designed with energy-efficient systems, smart infrastructure, and modern materials that contribute to long-term cost savings and environmental sustainability. As well as this, government can optimize their space and design structures to specify to their current and future needs by constructing new buildings. Now that this is a fresh start, government can manage workspaces, advanced security and staff size. In contrast, older builds may have limitations in terms of layout and design, making it challenging for modern operational requirements.

Nevertheless, I would that the positive outcomes of renovating existing facilities are worth mentioning. To begin with, reconstruct the old buildings instead of creating new ones can be cost-efficient. For instance, some public buildings such as museums or stadiums can be damaged partially, thereby fixing only certain areas is enough as opposed to construct new ones. Therefore, a large amount of money can be saved. Aside from that, several museums or educational institutions can be historical and have cultural heritage, thereby they can not be replaced by new ones. By repairing these places when it is damaged, government can keep the value of these constructions. In this way, it would be unwise to build new ones.

In conclusion, though it would be better to allocate money for creating new and modern public buildings, the advantages of renovating them should not be overlooked.

Food travels thousands of miles from producers to consumers.
Some people think that it would be better for the environment and economy if people only ate the local food produced by farmers.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Before coming to consumers from producers, food travels from remote destinations. There is a view that it would be beneficial not only for the economy but also environment if individuals solely consumed the local food produced by farmers. I partly agree with this statement as I recognize the benefits of foreign food products.

Admittedly, there are several upsides to eating domestic food. First, the most promising positive aspects of local food is its cost-efficiency and quantity. It is no secret that locally produced food can inexpensive, since there will not any tax for the product. Moreover, some local vegetables such as potato or onion are widely available for the population, thereby its cost is not be high-priced. As well as this, some food produced by farmers is somehow eco-friendly and do not travel thousand of miles. In this way, there is no need any transportation which produces carbon emissions for bringing them.

Nevertheless, I would argue that the positive outcomes of imported food are worth mentioning. To begin with, some products such as coffee or citrus fruits are not available in local country. Therefore, it would better for government to import such products instead of producing them in domestic areas. Aside from that the quality of most foreign products are very high in preference to local ones. For instance, large number of individuals prefer widely-recognized products such as McDonald's or KFC, thereby many local community will not purchase domestic counterparts. Hence, it is economically advisable to import products from abroad.

In conclusion, though there are numerous advantages of eating local food for both the environment and economy, the positive sides of importing food from other countries should not be overlooked.
