It also notes that DNA reports filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and ATF will take time for the defense team to analyze because reports indicated that several different DNA were found on some items of evidence.
'As these cases indicate, determining the number of contributors to a DNA mixture and determining whether the FBI and the ATF reliably applied validated and correct scientific procedures... is a complicated process which requires the assistance of various types of experts, including forensic biologists, geneticists, system engineers and statisticians, all of whom must review and evaluate' several different categories, the filing states, according to Deseret News.
Robinson's attorneys added that they have received about 20,000 electronic audio files, videos and written documents that prosecutors have presented as evidence in the case.

Multiple Ukrainian UAVs impacted the Ust-Luga port in Leningrad Oblast once again. This is the sixth consecutive night of Ukrainian attacks on Russia's Baltic Sea ports.
During the attack, at around 12:30 am, air alerts were issued for parts of Estonia, including the Ida-Viru and Lääne-Viru counties in the northeastern part of the country, as well as parts of southern Estonia.
Locals reported the sound of a drone over their houses, before explosions. Additionally, during the night, air alerts were issued for Parnu in western Estonia, around 180 km from the Russian border.
Ukrainian drones have now crashed in NATO territory during 4 out of the 5 Ukrainian attacks on Russia's Baltic Sea Ports. This is additional evidence that some Ukrainian drones are utilising NATO airspace during their flight paths to evade Russian air defence.

The EA-37B aircraft is not an early warning and control system type of aircraft but an aircraft meant to degrade, deny, and disrupt adversary communications. It’s about causing havoc in their command-and-control system, so that adversary leaders are unable to make clear decisions. Its best suited for SEAD — Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses missions
The EA-37B entered service with the USAF back in 2024. 10 such aircraft were ordered and 5 have been delivered so far.

If countries in Central Europe start following the example set by Spain, each sortie from England will cost the USAF more jet fuel as then number of flight corridors is reduced and travel time is increased.

The Islamic republic aims to set up a toll booth on the Strait of Hormuz. It may succeed
Donald Trump has a perverse genius for driving American adversaries to discover new forms of leverage over the US. His trade war with China persuaded Beijing to exploit its domination of rare earths and critical minerals, forcing the US to reduce its tariffs.
In a similar fashion, Iran has now finally carried through on a longstanding threat and in effect closed the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran, like Beijing, will have been delighted to discover how quickly it can inflict economic pain on the west.
Iran’s exploitation of its control over the strait means that the Islamic republic can now aspire to do far more than merely survive the US-Israeli assault. It has a real prospect of emerging from the war in a strengthened international position.
There is no doubt that Iran has suffered some savage blows. The country’s leader and many of his most senior advisers were killed on the first day of the conflict. Its ships, missile launchers and command centres have been struck repeatedly. The Iranian economy is in deep trouble and inflation is rampant.
But Iran is not merely fighting on. It has demonstrated that it can inflict real damage on its Gulf neighbours, such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE — placing big question marks over their long-term futures. Crucially, the Strait of Hormuz also provides the Islamic republic with a significant potential future revenue stream that could prove extremely valuable.
Iran has charged a reported $2mn each to allow ships safe passage through the strait. In normal times, about 140 ships a day make the journey. So a crude calculation suggests that, if Iran succeeds in setting up a toll booth on the strait, it could add billions of dollars a month to the state coffers.
Marco Rubio warned last week of the danger that Iran will seek to charge ships passing through the strait. The US secretary of state said that this would be illegal and unacceptable. He is right on both counts. The question is: what can the US do about it?
The discouraging answer is that there may be no military solution to this problem, short of regime change in Tehran. The US is currently dispatching ground troops to the region. But the seizure of Kharg Island, which Trump has floated in a recent interview with the FT, would not necessarily solve the strait problem.
In fact, western military planners are very pessimistic about the chances of reopening the strait by military means alone. The geography of the area and the technology available to Iran — including drones that can be operated many miles from the shoreline — mean that even naval escorts cannot guarantee the safety of commercial traffic.

Since the conflict broke out in late February, surging oil prices have hit energy-importing economies hardest, dragging equity benchmarks in South Korea, Japan and India down more than 10%. China, despite being the largest importer, has proved more resilient, with its gauge falling 4.6% over the same period.
As the war shows signs of escalating, the moves suggest Chinese equities may become an increasingly attractive safe haven, thanks to its strength in renewable energy, easing deflation and still-attractive valuations. A growing number of global banks have turned more upbeat, with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. recommended building strategic exposure at current levels while saying the market is better placed than most to withstand oil shocks.
Even before the war, China’s prospects have been improving. Advances in artificial intelligence, a steadier approach to managing US trade tensions, as well as a retreat from regulatory crackdowns have helped rebuild investor confidence. Equities continue to trade at around a 20% discount to the MSCI World Index on earnings-based measures.
In a sign that China has not seen major capital outflows — and may even be seeing inflows — authorities raised the cap on some overseas investments by the most since 2021. Relative stability in the yuan and local markets has given Beijing room to loosen capital controls and promote the currency’s global use.
There is also a second-order effect. Higher energy prices could help pull China out of deflation more quickly, reviving corporate earnings and spurring gains in stocks. While investors still want to see a broader recovery before calling a turnaround, rising prices may prove less of a threat for China compared with the rest of the world.

🇱🇧🇮🇱 - The Lebanese 'Armed Forces' have decided to once again abandon another town in the south of its own country amid the Israeli offensive.
Footage shows the Lebanese military withdrawing from Ain Ebel, Bint Jbiel direction, southern Lebanon. The withdrawal comes after the IDF attempted to cut the Rmaych - Ain Ebel highway earlier this morning. If the town falls to the IDF, it will put the Hezbollah stronghold of Bint Jbiel surrounded on three different sides.
