Most Fed Officials Backed Slowing the Pace of Rate Hikes Soon: BBG
Let me explain the meaning of this.
They are already thinking to reduce the pace of rate hikes. That says we're close to a FED pivot. This is a situation where potentially, in the future, the FED will start cutting rates NOT raising rates.
Most of people believe that when the FED pivot then that’s going to be the moment when the stock market will suddenly rally and explode much higher.
But actually the stock market usually rises and rallies right before a FED pivot. Also the major of the declines in a bear market occurs after a FED pivot.
