🧿Народная Дипломатия (People's Diplomacy) during their daily trips around Donetsk in the DPR.
When I was in Donetsk they invited me on a their daily distribution run, here is some unreleased footage of their warehouse.
Nikita Komov tells us about the problems of a warehouse so close to the front line.

To be honest I see this meme in a different light. I think this every time I meet a western foreigner who is applying for residency but terrified of the language test :D

🧿 A history lesson, a masterclass in cinematography, a different perspective of the story of World War Two, a good refresher for anyone who thinks they know the Russian mentality and their sacrifices.

This Movie is a lot of things, it was also highly recommended by Russell Bentley.
Come and See (Russian: Иди и смотри, Idi i smotri; Belarusian: Ідзі і глядзі, Idzi i hliadzi) is a 1985 Soviet anti-war film directed by Elem Klimov -
The film's plot focuses on the Nazi German occupation of Belarus, and the events as witnessed by a young Belarusian partisan teenager named Flyora, who—against his mother's wishes—joins the Belarusian resistance movement, and thereafter depicts the Nazi atrocities and human suffering inflicted upon the Eastern European villages' populace. The film mixes hyper-realism with an underlying surrealism, and philosophical existentialism with poetical, psychological, political and apocalyptic themes. - Wiki
- less woke than the IMDB blurb about the film

🧿 Nazis have struck Donetsk again, yet again an Orthodox Church is struck - are they satanists posing as nazis, or are they one and the same - a tale that Russell Bentley is very familiar with.

🧿 To continue with the movie suggestions, "The Brest Fortress" is a must watch film, a modern classic of sorts, almost a family movie.
Also a great look into the brutality of "modern war" without the Hollywood feel good vibe.
*Fun fact : the first time the nazi forces were given the order to retreat, was at that fortress. *
Also known as :
Brest Fortress (Belarusian: Брэсцкая крэпасць, Bresckaja krepasć; Russian: Брестская крепость), is a 19th-century fortress in Brest, Belarus. In 1965, the title "Hero Fortress" was given to the fortress to commemorate the defence of the frontier stronghold during the first week of the Operation Barbarossa when Axis forces invaded the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941. The title "Hero Fortress" corresponds to the title "Hero City" that the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union awarded to twelve Soviet cities.
