🧿 Thank you train, arrived in Moscow

🧿 Moscow is huge.

🧿 I've been informed that the huge building opposite the hotel is the headquarters of 'Roscosmos', the Russian space agency.

Also today is a low energy day, not going anywhere, preparing for tomorrow. Found a guide for Patriot Park (the Возмездие, meaning 'retribution', organization was kind enough to offer to take me there, follow them for exclusive footage and updates from the SMO if you speak Russian, if not, use telegram's built in translation tool).

Should be a great experience with loads of material and unique footage coming soon.

🧿 While waiting for the train in Rostov-on-Don the other day, I went out for a cigarette. As you can see, even the train station has a little memorial to the second world war, nazi occupation, and it's victims.

Russia remembers, the west has forgotten it would seem.

🧿 I thought I already filmed all the stations that were significant in design, yet again Moscow is full of surprises. Welcome to Тропарёво (Troparevo) station.

The installations are both historically significant and technologically advanced, all in all, great experience. A must see if you are ever in Moscow.

🧿 Almost all the walls in the memorial complex are lined with micro-portraits of the fallen, made into a mosaic of bigger pictures depicting the themes of the individual halls.

Breathtaking and awesome are words that don't even come close to explaining the feeling that overtakes you when you realize how much was sacrificed to stop the nazi onslaught.
