As my time in the Donbass and specifically in Donetsk comes to a close, I know I will miss it.

🧿 As we travel back to Rostov-on-Don, in the car with me are a young woman, a slightly older mother, and her daughter. She can't be more than 8 years old, if that. She is sitting in the middle of the back seat, and as every single army truck comes the other way, she waves, to every single one of the trucks heading for the DPR.

I am speechless.

🧿 Moscow is huge.

🧿 I've been informed that the huge building opposite the hotel is the headquarters of 'Roscosmos', the Russian space agency.

Also today is a low energy day, not going anywhere, preparing for tomorrow. Found a guide for Patriot Park (the Возмездие, meaning 'retribution', organization was kind enough to offer to take me there, follow them for exclusive footage and updates from the SMO if you speak Russian, if not, use telegram's built in translation tool).

Should be a great experience with loads of material and unique footage coming soon.

🧿 While waiting for the train in Rostov-on-Don the other day, I went out for a cigarette. As you can see, even the train station has a little memorial to the second world war, nazi occupation, and it's victims.

Russia remembers, the west has forgotten it would seem.
