For those that do not know, the flight time and battery capacity equation on flying quadcopters (aka drones) is one of extremely diminishing returns, meaning if you keep doubling the size of your battery, due to weight your overall gain in flight time will keep getting smaller. Moreover, for this category of drone, 2 years ago a flight time of 3-5 minutes was to be expected, doubling a battery would potentially add a maximum of 4 minutes, 12 minutes is something to boast about - and the lingering around the (destroyed) target leads me to believe there was a battery technology exchange when Putin visited Xi.
