TP1 hit and price rocket back to entry ! I didn’t get the chance to secure some profits or update

4140s lvl held strong and price had a nasty wick rejection under + closing above

moving forward ... if this current 30min closes bullsh, then i will be looking to set a buy limit 4150s

Heads up, volatility has increased after gold melt down overnight .. pips ranges are wider than normal time, so lets make sure to lower our risk

we need price to slightly close above 4158 to set a limit, almost there (active watching PA)

If price continues to range between 4160–4140, we’re stepping away and waiting for a proper breakout + clean structure

Right now PA is extremely choppy. Even after NYSE open, price has failed to make a clean push either lower or higher

Plan stays the same ..

Buys - if 4140s hold then we will wait for bullish structure above 4160 before considering buys

Sell - if price breaks and hold below 4140, we can start looking for sell opportunities (2nd try)

Im also looking at this H4 buy zone 4100 ! once we see price close, i will set this limit

Honestly, that sell we took at the open WAS the play… just unfortunate on the execution. Looking back, I believe my SL was simply too tight for the structure we were trading. A better placement would’ve been above the range high around 4160–4162, giving price enough room to breathe without invalidating the setup

The idea wasn’t necessarily wrong the SL placement could’ve been better. That’s something we learn from and adjust moving forward
