Today was NFP, so I stayed completely out of the market early this morning and let all that volatility play out

I’m officially back on the charts now and actively watching price action for a potential trade. But remember guys, IT’S FRIDAY I’m not forcing anything and I’m definitely not taking a low quality setup just to trade. If the market gives us something clean with the right confirmations, WE EXECUTE. If not, we protect our capital and finish the week 🦾

Again this setup can still play out but the probability are low due to 30min closure and I don’t want to expose myself

As you can see, it did play out and hit tp1 and tp2 but I didn't like PA !

THIS IS CALLED A PROBABILITY SHIFT

This is something every trader needs to understand.
You can map out the PERFECT trade. You have your direction, your AOI, your entry, SL, targets and all the confluences behind it

But remember your analysis is based on what price action is showing you RIGHT NOW. The moment PA changes, the probability of your original setup can change with it.

For example:

You planned a BUY because structure was bullish ✅
Price approaches your AOI ✅
But suddenly sellers step in aggressively
Bullish structure starts failing
Candles begin closing below important levels
Your original confluences start disappearing

At that point, you have NEW INFORMATION

A bad trader says:
“I already planned the buy, so I'm taking it anyway.”

A disciplined trader says:
“The reason I wanted this trade is no longer there. Why would I still take it?”

🎯THIS IS THE KEY:
Your AOI doesn't make the trade high probability
The reaction FROM your AOI does.

If you originally had 5 confluences supporting your trade and PA removes 2–3 of them before entry, you cannot treat that setup like it's still the same trade

THE PROBABILITY HAS SHIFTED.

That's when you make a decision:
Reduce risk. Wait for more confirmation. Delete the limit. Or completely stay out.
Don't become emotionally attached to your analysis

Your job isn't to prove your prediction was right. Your job is to respond to what the market is showing you.

I can be bullish at 8:00 AM and completely cancel my buy idea at 8:30 AM if PA gives me enough evidence that my original thesis is becoming invalid

That's not inconsistency.
THAT'S ADAPTABILITY 🦾

Remember this:
PLAN THE TRADE → READ THE REACTION → REASSESS PROBABILITY → EXECUTE OR WALK AWAY.

The best traders aren't married to their bias... They trade the information in front of them

I'll keep 4405 limit pending till 4:50pm !!! Now in order for us to take a buy here I'll need to see better structure at current PA 4435 4440 !
