This alone can change how you look at trading.
Imagine two traders
Trader A:
Waited for his AOI.
Got confirmation.
Calculated risk.
Followed the plan.
Hit SL
Trader B:
Missed his entry.
Chased price.
Oversized.
Had no confirmation.
Somehow hit TP
Who traded better?
Trader A.
Even though Trader B made money.
That's the part beginners struggle to understand.
If you only judge yourself by P&L, you'll eventually start repeating bad decisions that happened to make money
Instead, after every trade ask:
✅ Did I follow my setup?
✅ Did I wait for confirmation?
✅ Was my risk correct?
✅ Did I manage according to plan?
If YES and you lost? Take the loss. There's nothing emotional to "fix."
If NO and you won? Don't celebrate the execution. You got paid for breaking your rules.
That distinction is MASSIVE. Because long-term profitability doesn't come from making the right prediction every trade. It comes from repeating good decisions enough times for your edge to play out

Before your next trade after a big win OR loss… NAME YOUR STATE BEFORE YOU NAME THE TRADE.
Ask yourself: 👇
"What am I feeling right now?"
Not "I'm fine." Actually answer it. Frustrated?
You might force confirmation. Scared?
You might cut a perfectly good trade too early. Overconfident?
You might increase risk or ignore your checklist. Desperate to make money back?
You probably shouldn't be entering anything yet. Then give yourself a cooldown.
Walk away from the chart. Five minutes. Ten minutes. Whatever YOUR rules say.
You're not doing it because you're weak. You're doing it because your decision-making changes when your emotional state changes
Think about what I've been teaching you guys all week:
