Trade went active with little to NO drawdown, pushed 150+ pips, and we managed to bank 50–70% profits! 🤝
Good start to NYSE, especially with how volatile Gold has been today. We took what the market gave us and protected the bag
We also have news coming at 2PM, so for now we’re sitting on the sidelines. No reason to force anything before news
Enjoy the profits and stay patient I’ll update you guys when it’s time to get back to work 🫡

I’ll keep the other 2 limits pending for the next hour
If price reaches our zones and activates them before news, we’ll manage accordingly. If they don’t go active before the 2PM news, we’ll delete both limits and stay on the sidelines

WEEK 3 👇 Trading Psychology & Emotional Control
YOUR EMOTIONS ARE A POSITION TOO 🧠
I want you to really understand this:
You probably already know enough about trading to be profitable.
You know what PA is. You know structure. You know what a good setup looks like.
You know you're supposed to manage risk
So why do you STILL sometimes do the exact opposite of what you know?
Because knowing what to do when you're calm is completely different from doing it when money + emotions are involved. The real test isn't when you're sitting there analyzing a clean chart
It's the 4 seconds after you take a loss.
That's when your brain starts talking 👇
"I can make that back."
"This next setup looks good enough."
"Let me increase the lot a little."
"I know where price is going."
And suddenly…
The person clicking the button isn't the same person who created the trading plan.
That's what we're fixing this week. Because sometimes your biggest position isn't BUY or SELL…
It's the emotion you're carrying into the next trade. And if you don't learn how to manage THAT position, eventually it'll manage your account
Next I want to show you what emotional control actually looks like because it doesn't mean becoming emotionless !!

WHAT DOES A TRADER WITH REAL EMOTIONAL CONTROL ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?
It's not someone who doesn't care about losing. And it's definitely not someone who never gets frustrated
Picture this instead 👇
You take a full SL. You feel it. But your next setup still needs the same confirmation.
Your risk doesn't suddenly increase. Your standards don't suddenly decrease.
You don't need to immediately find another trade. Now flip it. You just caught a beautiful 3R trade. You're feeling GOOD. But your next trade still gets the same risk, same checklist, same patience and same confirmation
That's emotional control.
Your emotions are allowed to change
Your SYSTEM isn't.
A lot of traders think psychology only becomes a problem after losses. Nah. A winning streak can destroy your discipline too. You start feeling untouchable. You increase size. You take setups you would've skipped three days ago. You stop waiting for confirmation because you've been "reading Gold perfectly."
Then ONE bad trade turns into three.
The trader I'm trying to help you become can win, lose, miss an entry, get stopped at BE…
And still execute the next trade the exact same way

HERE'S WHERE MOST TRADERS ACTUALLY GET STUCK… 👇🏼
WOLVES TRADING
HERE'S WHERE MOST TRADERS ACTUALLY GET STUCK… 👇🏼
You don't just see a loss as -$100.
Your brain turns it into:
"I was wrong."
Then:
"I need to fix this."
Then:
"I need another trade."
That's where the problem starts
You need to separate these two things:
LOSING ≠ TRADING BADLY
You can follow your setup PERFECTLY, risk correctly, wait for confirmation, execute exactly according to plan… And still lose. That's trading
The dangerous part is when you take a completely rushed trade, break three rules… And WIN.
Because now the market just rewarded your bad behavior.
Read that again 👀
Sometimes your wins teach you worse habits than your losses.
That's why you don't only ask:
"Did this trade win?"
You ask:
"Did I execute this trade correctly?"
We literally had an example of this recently.
I took a higher-risk buy above my main AOI. The lower-TF PA looked good, but looking back, waiting for the H4 closure + proper retracement would've been the better execution. It lost.
Instead of getting upset at the market, I put it in my journal and extracted the lesson.
That's what losses are supposed to become: DATA
Because once you stop treating every loss like something you immediately need to recover…
You stop letting the previous trade control the next one.

START GRADING YOUR DECISIONS, NOT YOUR MONEY.
This alone can change how you look at trading.
Imagine two traders
Trader A:
Waited for his AOI.
Got confirmation.
Calculated risk.
Followed the plan.
Hit SL
Trader B:
Missed his entry.
Chased price.
Oversized.
Had no confirmation.
Somehow hit TP
Who traded better?
Trader A.
Even though Trader B made money.
That's the part beginners struggle to understand.
If you only judge yourself by P&L, you'll eventually start repeating bad decisions that happened to make money
Instead, after every trade ask:
✅ Did I follow my setup?
✅ Did I wait for confirmation?
✅ Was my risk correct?
✅ Did I manage according to plan?
If YES and you lost? Take the loss. There's nothing emotional to "fix."
If NO and you won? Don't celebrate the execution. You got paid for breaking your rules.
That distinction is MASSIVE. Because long-term profitability doesn't come from making the right prediction every trade. It comes from repeating good decisions enough times for your edge to play out
