What a beautiful trade guys… this played out AMAZING. Last night, instead of rushing into Gold because price was moving, we waited for our setup to actually develop

I was updating you guys throughout the session on the 15MIN, 30MIN and 1H candle closures, explaining exactly what I wanted to see before we even considered pulling the trigger. My last update before the setup was basically: “30MIN didn't close the best, but the 15MIN did close bearish under 4400. Let's wait for a retest into the 15MIN bearish FVG around 4400–4405 and see sellers hold price below 4400.”

And that's EXACTLY what Gold gave us. Price pulled back into our area, respected the bearish FVG, failed to reclaim 4400 and gave us the confirmation we were waiting for.
That's when we pulled the trigger and set our sell limits

The rest is history…

The position went active around NYSE open this morning and delivered beautifully.
But the biggest takeaway isn't the 400 pips.
It's HOW we got the 400 pips

No chasing
No guessing
No entering because we were scared of missing the move

We identified what needed to happen, waited through multiple candle closures, let price come back into our zone and only executed once the market gave us what we wanted.
This is exactly what I've been drilling into you guys: Your job isn't to predict every move. Your job is to build a plan BEFORE the move and have the discipline to wait for the market to confirm it
